She’s the only one I can count on. She stood by me for years when everybody else left.

Death means something different to all of us. We all have different ideas about how to honour the dead… different ideas of how to grieve, different ways of moving on. Well, I may not be an expert… but I do have some experience with losing people I love. And I say the right way to grieve, is however the hell you want.

She’s my person. This is not about getting her approval. It’s about telling her… if I murdered someone, she’s the person I’d call to help me drag the corpse across the living room floor. She’s my person.

“So it was really special to me [to win the Challenge Cup]. I think some other people are probably saying like “oh they’re celebrating so hard, it was just a tournament, blah blah blah…This meant so much to people like me because I honestly haven’t really won anything, and, you know, how do you want us to celebrate?
