A lot of people cover groups like these from the angle of internet anthropology, or public interest journalism. This isn't inherently bad, people have done it well, but inarticulate discussion can lend itself to sneering internet freak-show behavior. Or more commonly, relegating the topic to an incurious fun fact.

Common misconception, but adding wings doesn't increase your flight speed. Wings toggle the ability to fly. Humans can't have no wings and they don't fly at 0mph, they just don't fly. If you gave a bird 4 wings then it wouldn't be able to fly again.

So would 6 wings make them fly faster?

You'd think, but at that point the extra sets of wings would make them too heavy and slow them down again.
