“You talk to me, when you’ve not gotten anything in 40 years and you’ll be in a rush too.” He sassed back, feeling the hand on him. His impatient manner was from not having any comfort whatsover apart from Grannies recently, while on ice so that’s why he was having trouble with it being so slow. Noticing that the glacial pace even happen when he was exposed he smiled. “Good. I knew you could listen to me. Do it.” 

“Mhmm. Still, I know places that you’ve looked better like right here.” Knowing John very well already he could see that he was furrowing his brows at the reality that Ben had dropped. Feeling the kiss he lapped it up. 

Still on top he chuckled at the words. “Chop Chop keep up, slow poke.” He let the T-shirt fall and smiled as he held John closer. “I wasn’t built in a day.”

“I’m 103, with vices a mile long. Talk to me when your looking as good as me at this age, sport.” Moving closer to John he felt the taste of the milkshake on his lips finishing the kiss and humming as he felt the hands on his boots.

“I know…?” He questioned. “Does anyone really know anyone? I thought you were a loser cause you wore capes, I got over that.” He knew that meeting your heroes was always a starstruck thing, let alone a caregiver figure, having not had one. “You always do that. Put yourself down before you’ve even been told off, it’s a bad habit. Be strong, own your shit. If you’re glad to meet me, then be proud of that. It’s not stupid.” He pulled him off his legs into a deeper kiss. “You’re not as totally unmanly as I thought you’d be. But there’s always tommorow.” He joked, moving on top of him. “Silence your mind, I know what will help you.”

    “I want to point out the cape wasn’t my decision.” Just like everything else he had little to no control over. The flag design had been, however. Ben calling John out on how he treated himself had him furrow his brows. Well, there was no denying that he did put himself down a lot and punished himself. He only uttered a small “yeah” before his lips were once again pressed against Ben’s and moaned softly into his mouth. 

“Now you’re getting it.” He grinned with a smirk to it and put a hand through John’s hair letting out a happy sigh. “You don’t know.” He repeated, just feeling good about having comfort. “Oh that’s a rule in this room, I forgot, I made that recently. No clothes in the evenings. You finish the milkshake and you can help me, so I’m following it. Haven’t had anyone unlace my boots in a while.”

    “How can you forget the most important rule?” He smiled and took a last sip from the shake - which wasn’t empty just yet - and leaned in and kissed Ben. The taste of milk and Ben mingled well, and John gave a pleased hum. “I’ll help you,” he mumbled against Ben’s lips and put away the cup. As much as he wanted to tear off the shirt, he moved down the bed to the mentioned boots, sliding his hand along Ben’s leg.

Ben pulled John towards his chest, letting him sip the milkshake after he repeated it once again. “Our place is above them.” He entwined their fingers together and kissed the top of his hand. He was not sure anything was landing with this kid but he was trying as he let go he sighed. “So now that I’m here. What’s the plan?”
