â --- - threaten me again, and iâll burn that goddamned book of yours, universe be damned. |Â schdnfrudâ
EDDIE ? THAT name left a bitter taste in his mouth - it was almost like a SPARK ignited within. and to bring up his MOTHER âŚÂ that was the end of the line for the doctor.     RICHTOFEN STANDS before the other , a look of grimace plastered on the mans features. perhaps it wasnât the best of ideas to instigate a FIGHT - the the flood gates have already broken.        â i am a doctor , und it is HERR DOKTOR EDWARD RICHTOFEN to you ââ â not gottverdammt EDDIE. und i demand the RESPECT i should be given.  â
just the tone of his voice alone reminds her all too well of her father-- - strict, oppressive, and worst of all belittling. she can recall arguments time and time again where they butted heads because she â spoke out of place or turn â or â spoke of things she could not comprehend as a woman â. both left a bitter taste on her tongue and allison forces herself to bite back an immediate retort.
instead, she releases her cradled injury and pushes herself up to her full height, jaw set and hazel eyes peering DOWN at the doctor. with her good hand she reaches out, grasping the front of his clothing where vest and collar meet and lifts ever so slightly, just enough to bring him a smidge closer to her face.
â youâll get respect from me when you EARN it from me, not when you demand it like a petulant BRAT would. a PhD doesnât mean shit to me if weâre dimension hopping. â a pause, voice lowering slightly. â the way i see it, doc, is that while youâve got this grand scheme to save the universe, itâll never happen without the rest of us. youâre NOTHING without the rest of us pulling the strings for you. â
â --- youâre an asshole. just to catch you up to speed with the rest of us. |Â Â schdnfrudâ.
â vell , you certainly do not vant to die from something as minuscule as sepsis , now vould you ?  â    A BROW raises with contempt - brushing her hand away. the tone of the otherâs voice didnât quite sit well with him , but itâs not like he could just shoo them to the side.         â und if you are so UNGRATEFUL to even accept my care , perhaps dempsey vould patch you right up. maybe even zee BRUTE nikolai could possibly help.  â
something about the way he so easily belittles her sets her even further on edge, has her riled up and ready to inflict harm upon the other.
â ungrateful? oh, iâll show you ungrateful you arrogant piece of--- - â as she speaks, she settles hands on either side of herself and attempts to rise, putting pressure on her injured arm.
allison hisses through her teeth and crumbles once more to the ground, clutching at her own forearm desperately. brows knit together, teeth bared and malice laced within her words.
â youâre a doctor, not a child. so what, youâll just turn others away because you disagree or you donât like the tone of their voice? tsk, tsk, eddie. didnât your mother raise you better than that? â
â -- - wow, thatâs the thanks I get, doc? |Â schdnfrudâ.
NEITHER OF the two options seem pleasantly appetizing - but being choosy  isnât a luxury in the apocalypse. richtofen takes a spot near them , taking the questionable corned beef ( if that what this even was. ) can. a look of concern shows as he scrunches up his nose , obviously off - put by the peculiar meat shown on the label.        â are you saying mein free time is being spent WISELY ? hm , unlike you ââ â i am actually trying to save the universe from utter annihilation.  â
she would say that sheâs surprised, but unfortunately sheâs not. her nose scrunches, brows knitting together as the doctor almost stares a hole into the label. just as sheâd thought maybe, MAYBE he was tolerable, he goes and fucks the whole thing up. without even hesitating she plucks the questionable item from his hand and replaces it with the beans. problem solved.
â well, while youâre busy being a self-centered prick and refusing to tell anyone else HOW EXACTLY to help save the universe, yeah, this is what Iâm doing. you wonât be saving anything if youâre dead. so somebody has to keep your stupid ass alive by giving you the necessities-- - food, water, and killing the occasional horde or two. â a pause. â take the beans; itâll probably keep your stomach stable longer. â

  injuries prompts / accepting !
â i go through a lot EVERYDAY.  â    HE SNAPPED back with a rapid response , immediately regretting his decision to reply so aggressively. perhaps they were right âŚÂ a sigh leaves his mouth , wiping away the blood and grime from his face.         â i âŚÂ apologize. food isnât necessarily a main priority to me. which also means i âŚÂ have none of.  â
â ah. glad to see hunger hasnât changed your usual... upbeat behavior, edward. funny you mention lacking food, because i had a sneaking suspicion that might be the culprit. â
the taller woman slouches against the edge of a nearby desk, somehow still standing despite the ruin and degradation surrounding it. she lifts both hands, producing two cans.
â lucky for you, i spent my free time wisely just in case of this inevitable occasion. docâs choice--- - pork and beans or what looks like corned beef are the menu options tonight. â

Mya sighed lightly before looking up at Allison. âItâs really nothing, I swear, love. Itâs a little sore but itâs not the end of the world.â She sits up then, taking her hand back and glancing at it herself. Honestly it looked to have bruised a little more than the last time sheâd look at it. She must have smacked him harder than she realized.
âI really just fell. I tried to catch myself but my hand, it uh-⌠It was facing the wrong way I guess,â she forced a light laugh, really trying to sell that it was honestly no big deal.
there was something about the way she simply brushed it off and deemed it unimportant that didnât sit quite right with allison, but she supposed that maybe it really was just that; nothing. in all of the highly stressful situations they coped with, there were bound to be menial injuries from simple mistakes.
â . . . if you say so, liebchen. â another soft sigh, and she rests her cheek against the curve of the womanâs palm. lips press a soft kiss there, eyes finding myaâs. â you know i ask only because i care about you. â

â vould you like somezing to bite on ?  â
breath is heavy, fingers wound tightly in the sleeve of the otherâs shirt and she canât help the way rage GLINTS within her eyes. â do i look as if iâve the patience to vait, herr doktor? â her own accent is thicker, heavier, more prevalent than usual from the pain. â consider yourself lucky zhat iâve even let you close enough to offer aid. â

âHmm? Oh, its nothing. Donât worry about it.â Mya lets Al hold up her hand, but she doesnât bother opening her eyes - further driving home that she doesnât want to talk about the bruising on the back of her hand.
â liebchen, talk to me. â allison lifts the otherâs hand, lips pressing gently against the bruised and injured knuckles. â are you alright? does it hurt? â she looks to her wife, reaching out to stroke her cheek. â bitte, tell me what happened. â

it comes as no surprise when he seems to refuse her offer of help. part of her knew that heâd never be fully honest with any of them, no matter how many times they pleaded and implored with the doctor. it was just how things were going to be.
â no offense, doc, but iâm already in hell--- - nothing you can say or do is gonna make this worse. everything thatâs happened to me is because of my choices. so this whole stubborn, holier-than-thou thing is really not gonna convince me to stop asking or offering to help. i know what itâs like to hold everything on your shoulders and not ask for help-- itâs terrible, and horribly isolating. â
but, without further question or protest, she lifts her arms just enough to allow him to finish patching her up.
â iâm so horny and angry all the time. â
