Native Foods Cafe, vegan taco salad! Clackamas, Oregon. Not going to lie, I've probably had everything on the menu at some point. I don't think there is a single item that I wouldn't order again. Even non-vegans love this place. They also have a great rewards program that's free to sign up for!

I'm vegan for the animals? Why are you vegan?

Have you tried Portland's very own Goodwiches? If not you are missing out! They have a bunch of different options including Vegan TLT and my personal favorite Chickpea Tuna! When I was talking to the cashier who rang this up for me, one thing we both really liked about these sandwiches is that while they are created mimic a certain flavor/style, they don't try too hard to make it exact and instead create food that is distinct, from their non-vegan counterparts, yet still extremely delicious. I recommend pairing this with a soup of some kind. The one I chose was an apple butternut squash soup. Who said being vegan was hard? :)

My breakfast the other morning! I woke up and noticed that my family had left me a bunch of ripe cherry tomatoes so I knew I had to incorporate them in some way. This is avocado on vegan sourdough with cherry tomatoes, vegan Dijon, pepper and paprika. Good morning to me!

Aloo Mutter from the Taste of Indian food cart downtown Portland! So much food and most of it's carbs! I'm definitely in vegan heaven!

Gotta love green juice! The most convenient/healthy/delicious way to get carbs on the go! One thing I love about greenleaf is that they press their juice daily so you know you're getting the full amount of vitamins and nutrients. Also if you're like me and you're constantly on the go, it's necessary to have places that have healthy options that are fast and convenient. I highly recommend greenleaf!

I didn’t really get into the swing of blogging my vegan eats in Portland the first time, but I’ve decided to try it again and start sharing my vegan experiences in Portland with everyone who might be interested! I’ll try harder this time!

Not that I needed to eat more food but I also got this Asian quinoa salad at New Seasons which is amazing. It has quinoa, cucumber, edamame, red bell pepper, pickled carrots, sesame seeds, green onions, cilantro and a rice vinegar dressing. So good!
