PPDK Sketches

This is just the infantry. (Ignore the skimmers). This is before I’ve even assembled shadowspear. I’m going to easily have more unpainted models than painted ones before this is done.

I’m hesitant to use the term, primarily because, the way it’s been said to me, is as if you look in a mirror and you don’t see you.

And that’s never been the case for me.

I look in a mirror and I see something I generally hate but it’s sadly very much me, I’m under no allusions about that.

But it’s not the me that lives in my head, if that makes sense.

I’m not sure that’s even the best way to put it...but the mental picture I have of myself isn’t whatever *that thing* in the mirror is. At all.

And I haven’t had ... I haven’t gotten *super* depressed at that fact in years.

And then today I had the most vivid dream and ... everything matched? And then I woke up and it has gnawed at me like an open wound all day.

So Peter Parker was usually shown as a genius.

Makes most of his own gear, until the MCU has tony stark do everything better.

So I gotta believe that when designing his suit, he made the contact points of his feet and hands out of a material that allowed the hairs on his skin that let him stick to surfaces pass through and still function.

But here’s the thing.

Spider Gwen wears ballet SHOES.

Miles Morales wears TRAINERS.

Spider-Man noir wears ARMY BOOTS.

None of these materials are going to allow those millions of nanolength hairs through thick rubber soles.

I know I know.
