so if you're telling me whites experience racism, tell me an example of racism that you personally have experienced this year. (none of those school yard bullies from grade school or some big scary random black man who yelled at you once) i'll wait
Wow you are trying so damn hard to protect your racist agenda.I guess being told that Iâm the white devil and that Iâm responsible for slavery must not be racist then.I love how I never said which one was worse. I love how youâre so determined to protect your racist title. I donât know if itâs hilarious or sad. I do honestly hope that when you finally learn that anyone can be a racist to anybody⌠Youâll finally see how silly and ridiculous you were acting here today.
no answer as usual.
why would you INSIST that reverse racism is real but have no proof or evidence.
so pathetic, must be hard to be a victim of no crime đ°
I love how you completely ignored everything that I said. I said that itâs just called racism. There is no such thing as reverse racism because itâs just called racism. If people hate on you because your ancestors owned slaves? Thatâs racist. If someone calls you the white double and that youâre responsible for everything bad thatâs happened in this world? Thatâs racist. If you beat up a white mother and her child just because sheâs in the âwrong neighborhoodâ Thatâs racist Iâm not going to say which is worst. Iâm not going to act like we have it worse than you do. But if youâre going to be a little racist shit. Youâre going to get called out on it.
I love meeting these racist people. Itâs so easy to draw them out. All you got to do is type some common sense and they will jump out of their dirty little holes just to spread their ignorance
your white mother was beat for being in the wrong neighborhood?
or you just making shit up as usual?
lolÂ
⌠Where did I say it was my mother? There was literally a news article about this and a video posted about a year or two ago.
I guess if you search up the massacre in Africa that happened recently youâre probably going to think that that was a lie also huh
donât slander Africa just because youâve never experienced racism, referencing some 2 year old story is just pretty obvious it never happened to you, yet here you are still complaining of being a victim of no crime at all.
sad.
Being called out for racism is not experiencing racism! And I doubt someone said that you personally are responsible for slavery. But white people are and thereâs no denial in that, youâre white so you feel attacked personally and think that is racism? Think again
So 1.4% of the white population being slave owners more than 200 years ago in cause enough to hate all white people and blame even the Slavs themselves for slavery? My word, thatâs some pretty racist tripe right there.
Hating all white people makes someone a racist, just as someone hating all black people makes them a racist. There is no justification for the hatred of an entire people. Do we want equality? Then everyone must be treated equally, no matter their skin color or heritage. Superiority? Congrats, thatâs racist.
^^^^^
Slavery is just one example. Just look at the history and you will find so many things that white people did and are still doing to people of color that are worth hating! Also again, no one hates every single white personally, but people have a right to be angry about what happened to them or their ancestors.
Racism isnât just about hating! A person of color hating white people is not going to hurt white people because they donât have the power to do so. People of color probably donât give a shit how you personally feel about them, but because white people have power in this world it fucking does actual harm and can end up costing lives that white people hate them or think of them as inferior. Which just isnât the case the other way around. So no, white people cant experience racism. Prejudice, yes but not racism
Youâre mixing up institutionalized racism with individual racism. Individual racism is what each individual person experiences, whereas institutionalized racism is a system geared against, or for, a certain race.
In the US, you can say white people donât experience institutionalized racism, whereas you can say they can experience individual racism.
Also, how is prejudice better than racism, when theyâre synonyms? Itâs discriminating against one group for something they canât control.
Ok, even if there was such a thing as âindividual racismâ, when was the last time it ever affected you? When did you ever have ANY disadvantage from being white except people on the internet saying you play the victim and deny your privilege? (Spoiler alert thatâs not racism)
When have I ever stated my race? Do you automatically assume anyone talking about racism like this must be white?
Well, are you? Even if you arenât, it doesnât matter, this example doesnât have to be about you, point still stands.
So white people are some magical creature who cannot experience racism of any sort. Right. While the rest of us get to be lower beings. Awesome.
Yeah sure thatâs exactly what I was saying lol ⌠You donât have to be âmagicalâ to be born into a world where you have privilege. And that doesnât fucking make POC âlower beingsâ it just means thereâs injustice in this world.
Claiming white people cannot experience racism makes them some sort of magical being. Privilege has squat to do with individual racism.
If someone beats you up because of your skin color, it doesnât magically become not racism if your skin is light enough. What is your criteria for âwhite enoughâ anyway? Seems people have different ideas of what âwhiteâ is.
Some people say my Roma/Italian/Sephardic Jew friend isnât white, despite her skin being fairly light. Others say it has to do with facial structure. And then one of my black friends in college was berated by his own family and told he was âtoo whiteâ because he wrote poetry and didnât talk ghetto. So is it just a way to act? Is it just a mindset? You made your own assumptions about me.
Also, POC is racist. Itâs just saying Colored person, and itâs yet one more thing to divide people. Do we want segregation or do we want equality? Weâre all Americans, doesnât matter what our skin color is, our heritage, our religion. So we should all be treated exactly the same as the next person. Iâm tired of this Noble Savage/White Savior stuff. Weâre all humans, weâre supposed to all be equal, letâs act like it.
Also, go to any other country and see what racism is really about. Racism in the US is practically a joke compared to other countries, and most definitely affects white people.
Hahaha and there you go assuming Iâm an American. I donât have to go to another country because I already live in one. Here comes the âwhite people getting beat up for being whiteâ argument again. How often exactly does that happen? Do you have any proof for that shit?
And maybe we should be all treated the same, but well we arenât. And thereâs no denying that in a lot of situations you get treated worse for being a person of color. Not âindividual racismâ like some mean comments about being too pale. Like actual disadvantages in life or even threats to your life.
You must not know that black tumblr/Twitter thinks it OK to talk about raping specifically white women and threatening/harassing anyone white they deem as 'racist'
