James had been holding a basket that was beginning to fill up with some of the foods Lily had sent him out to fetch.  He was flattered that she trusted him enough to send him out to get the food that they needed, however he wasn't sure he deserved it.  It had been easy to get the first few things on the list, but some things he just had no idea about.

Words of advice, mate, get a room, put a sign on the door, and put a silencing charm up. I’ll wait in the living room. It’s no big deal. Plus it’s not like I haven’t seen you naked before

We always do have a room.  It's just not always our bedroom, if that's what you're meaning.  How about you just knock on the door like any other sane person?

Tea and brownies?  I have to admit you do put up a fair argument for yourself.  

Your fiance, huh? She’s one lucky bird to.have such a catch. Do you think she’ll mind if I steal you for the night?

I think it's the other way round.  I'm quite lucky to have her.  -James cupped his cheek in her hand-  

She trembled in Lily’s embrace, vaguely aware of her and James trying to console her but still deathly afraid of what she was convinced was happening to Sirius. As soon as he entered the room, she scrambled out of Lily’s grasp and slid off the bed. Her knees buckled slightly as she put her full weight on her feet. She hadn’t been out of bed since she’d been admitted, and technically she wasn’t supposed to be out of bed without another Healer’s supervision. Per usual, Dorcas paid the rules little mind as she tentatively walked towards Sirius, grinning at her. In retrospect, she knew something was off about him, but she mostly was focused on proving to herself that this was actually Sirius and that the Sirius bleeding on the floor a few feet away was just another hallucination.

James turned as he heard Sirius' voice, immediately feeling glad that he was there.  It took him a moment longer, after the relief flooded through him, to feel like something was off.  He made sure to keep a smile on his face, mostly for Dorcas' sake especially as she moved out of the bed to move towards Sirius.  James' hands followed Dorcas while she was within reach to make sure she didn't fall over.

-Stepping out of the tea shop with bags full of different teas to stock the kitchen cabinets her eyes fell upon a familiar face, wasting no time as she walked up to him-

-James looked up at the familiar voice, already starting to smile-

Where’s Lily at? You two normally satisfy each others boredom.

Yes, we usually do satisfy each other's boredom.  That satisfying is something you walk in on far too often, mate.

{Exiting Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour, Sirius noticed James sitting on a bench and walked over to sit with him, ice cream in hand.}

Oh, hey. -James shrugged- Honestly?  Nothing.  I'm just bored and wanted to get out of the flat.

Eleanor had her head on the Honeydukes counter, whilst playing with a couple strands of her red hair, before hearing a light cough from in front of her, causing her head to shoot up, “Ah…Sorry, I didn’t notice you there…The shops been kind of quiet the past few days…”

-James looked up at the voice, a smile appearing on his face.- Don't worry about it, no harm done.  -He walked over and braced himself on the counter as he leaned forward a little bit- What would you suggest for a film night? Lily just said to buy some snacks, but apart from the chocolate fudge she likes, I don't really know what to get.

"I’m all right," Dorcas gave her a small smile. Ever since Lily had left, she’d been practically twisting her blankets into knots, anxious that Sirius still hadn’t returned and desperately missing Lily even though she hadn’t even been gone that long. Every minute felt like an eternity. "One or two came in to check on me, but I made it abundantly clear that I didn’t want anything from them so it was really just them going through the motions. Fine by me."

James knew all too well of Lily's dislike of apparation.  He made sure to hold onto her to keep her upright when they appeared just outside of St Mungos.  He handled apparating a lot better than Lily but still wasn't a massive fan of the feeling that came with it.  "I know, love, I know."  He leaned down to kiss the top of her head before they began walking into Mungos.

Ugh, Potter, don’t call me Mr. Weasley, I’m not that old.

I was just respecting my elders.

Shag soon I can deal with.

Nah. She’ll keep me off. She may end up putting Lily on there too. Know you, you’ve already drove her bat-shit insane. Hey, wait. Is that a grey hair I see? Look’s like you’re getting old mate, Dorcas will definitely make sure the give you one of those padded rooms.

I guess I could survive a mad house if Lily was there with me..especially if we got put in that padded room together.

You know, my girlfriend’s a healer. I could call her over here and she can check both of our heads. Mine will be clean from insanity… well maybe not completely, but you on the other hand. She might have to put you on the permanent resident list.

Clean from insanity?  Yeah, right. I think your girlfriend would be putting you on that permanent resident list, actually.  But don't worry, me and my girlfriend will visit...let me rephrase, me and my fiance.

Shag later… My least favorite words when put together. I prefer shag now.
