Hey guys!!! Mod Sans is moving to Taiwan! I meant to draw this up digitally and make it nice and fancy but there is hardly any time for anything right now and I don't want to leave anyone hanging. What does this mean? Well this blog is unfortunately going on an indefinite hiatus while I fill out paperwork, organize, move, adjust to a new time zone and start work at a new job. On the plus side this is an excellent research opportunity for the blog so in no way is this ending. Thank you so much to everyone who has been interested so far and with luck we will be back before you know it!

Mod Papyrus here. Some bad news has come up, unfortunately. Mod Sans burned their drawing hand pretty badly today and won’t be able to work on posts for a while. Please send them good thoughts and hopefully they’ll be right soon!

Edit by mod Sans: The lesson is when someone says that a pot is hot, don’t assume it’s ‘sort of hot’ because it might have just been pulled out of the oven. (Please don’t worry too much, there’s no blisters I don’t need to go to the hospital. It just covers a wide area of my hand and hurts to move.)

Hey everybody Mod Sans here. I’m sorry that you’ve all been waiting so long for a post from me, I’m glad you all enjoy what Mod Papyrus has been doing though. With summer come I’ve been very busy, my family gets me to do a lot of yard work for them, I’ve been job hunting, and my graduation is in a week from now, so I’ve been pretty busy and without much energy to work on things. On top of that my drawing tablet has been on the fritz for a few days now but I hope to wrangle it under control soon. Thank you for your patience and thank you even more just for being here and interested!

THERE WERE MANY THREATS OF SUPLEXES WITH A WIDE AND UNPREDICTABLE RANGE OF INTENDED FRIENDLINESS, AIMED MOSTLY AT SANS BUT SOMETIMES AT ME AS WELL. SO OVERALL I THINK SHE’S TAKEN TO THE IDEA BETTER THAN I EXPECTED.

Any reason you couldn't have brought Papyrus with you? Or at least tell him face-to-face where and why you were leaving?

i was kind of in a rush, and honestly? i kind of liked the idea of being on my own, in a nice way. pap and me are pretty much inseparable, but i think i wanted a chance to kind of get to know myself, if that makes sense.

if i went to tell papyrus about why i was leaving it would have taken half a day, easily, just to explain it all. i didn’t feel like i had half a day, or even a minute to spare. now im just kind of embarrassed about it all, but i didn’t know. i didn’t know that it was going to be alright, so i did what i could in the moment, for myself.

i know it sounds selfish, but sometimes you just gotta do things for yourself, or you’ll go crazy.

You mentioned 'War museums' so I can only assume it might be weird for a monster to be poking about a museum dedicated to the story that trapped them under a mountain but all that made me wonder. Have any real problems with humans yet? Like any 'We don't take kindly to your kind around here' folks or even people who were kinda 'spooped'?

yeah it seems humans have some weird association between skeletons and death so i’ve had a lot of people get a little freaked out around me. old folks are a fifty fifty bet if they’ll be upset to see me or kind of happy to chat.

got a lot of free tickets to metal concerts though, thats kind of fun.

How're you covering the expenses of all this travel?

monster gold converts to human cash pretty nicely. i also hoof it sometimes, hitchhike and take the occasional… shortcut. haven’t run out of cash yet, and i’ll deal with that when i do. it doesn’t make cents to worry about that now.

well one thing i always had a hard time with in the underground was finding anything about what was going on up here that wasn’t a waterlogged book or a tape that barely worked. so i think i’m going to hit up some museums. there sure are a lot of them to choose from. art, natural history, science, even war museums (how messed up is that?) haven’t decided on any in particular yet but whenever i see one i’m gonna take a look around

other than that..... i’m gonna head anywhere there isn’t snow, heh.
