paw print: i made this because ive dealt with feeling smaller when people round me were yellin or fightin n i didn't know what to do, so here are some things for if you also go thru that! 🐾

♡ headphones & noise ──୨ৎ── one of my go to solutions has been to immediately put on headphones and play whale sounds, you can listen to other animal sounds too, or anything you want! i find it a great help༅

♡ lighting ──୨ৎ── if you have leds, turn them on, or if you have a candle, light it, etc, anything you can! i like turning blue lighting on since it matches really good with whale sounds! (and if you cant have real candles try fake ones!)༅

♡ cozy blanket fort ──୨ৎ── the funest of fun to distract yourself! i love blanket forts! and they are perfect for anything! playing, escaping, or just somewhere cozy to be!༅

♡ coloring ──୨ৎ── maybe aggressively scratch down your emotions, or colorig a page of a coloring book inside the lines neatly, whatever helps you!༅

♡ have screen time ──୨ৎ── turn on a video, maybe your favorite youtuber, some asmr, a gameplay, wildlife, etc! just do what you think would help you best!༅

♡ comfort ──୨ৎ── reach out to a cg or any siblings or friends you have, call, vent, or just talk, and if you don't have anyone then when you are not dealing with the yelling or fighting, write a letter for yourself for when you have to go through it again༅

♡ snacks ──୨ৎ── keep some snacks in your room for whenever you wanna have a comforting snack during such times༅

♡ animals ──୨ৎ── do you have any pets? go snatch them up if you can! i snatch my cat and bring her into my blanket fort :3 and if not, thats okay! bring a stuffed animal like i mentioned!༅

♡ story time escape ──୨ৎ── grab your favorite book! maybe its a big kid book, a picture book, a touch n feel book, whatever it is, grab it and read it! and if you don't have one or don't wanna read or are to little toooo read, theres lots of asmr videos of people reading children's books to you!༅
