i’ve seen a lot of people say “what if klaus relapses in s4?” and like. he already has. he was actively relapsing for the entirety of s3. he didn’t turn back to drugs, but he did turn back to alcohol. even though he was nonchalant about it, he’s said it himself — he’s an alcoholic. and when you’re an alcoholic, there is no “casual drinking.” once you’re in, you’re in. to act as if this relapse doesn’t count because it’s “just alcohol” is HUGELY invalidating to this struggle. he may not act like it’s a relapse (and why would he?), but it very much is.

imagine youre ronan lynch you spent the night streetracing and making homoerotic eye contact with your rival while yelling homophobic stuff at one another and you come home and you know your friend doesnt like it when you race so youre feeling kind of conflicted because on the one hand you love being a contrarian little shit but on the other hand you can barely survive without his mental support so you decided to just quietly sneak off to bed. you open the door and gansey is remodeling the kitchen(which doubles as a bathroom) to look like glendower’s bedroom so that he can get into the ancient welsh headspace better and noah is reenacting his gruesome demise-by-skateboard on the floor. its 3am. average day at monmouth manufacturing.

everything klaus does is so intricately and vitally intertwined with every single major plot point in the show and yet he is always on some bizarre side quest. simultaneously the most and least plot involved character.

the best thing about the footloose scene is that like... it objectively serves absolutely no use to the plot moving forward. like yes it shows what jayme's spit does but the delores scene happens like five minutes later and serves literally the exact same purpose in showing that she makes hallucinations by spitting at people. they could have just made that her power's introduction and it wouldn't have changed much plot wise but instead they went "no were going to make diego hallucinate one of the most fun and memorable dance scenes in the show since I Think We're Alone Now even though it isn't Actually Happening" & I for one am obsessed

People with siblings are so genuinely scary they're just constantly asking you things like "you never played 3-Minute Eye Gouge as a kid? you never played Fireplace Chase? you never played Actual Serial Killer?"
