Just on the cusp of Lake Ontario lies the city of Port Charles, New York. A mid-sized city that was founded in 1875. Though it may look like an average place to the naked eye, what goes on behind closed doors is hardly average. From the day The Webber Family first settled in Port Charles, the entirety of the city has been home to crime, death, scandal and much more. The city has an eclectic history, one of with many outside of the area look over. Though the highlight of the city was it's large medical facility, General Hospital, it has increasingly shifted elsewhere. Since it's beginning, families from all over have come to make Port Charles their home. However, what many fail to realize is that Port Charles is hardly what they expect it to be. Many have fallen short due to the rising organized crime rate of the city, much of which was caused by the infamous Corinthos family. The city itself has become a beacon for wrong doings, fatal disasters and merciless situations. Everyone who now lives here is either tied to the distressing world somehow, or is blissfully unaware of what goes on beneath their noses. However, that ignorance can only go on for so long as Port Charles isn't known for treating it's citizens nicely. At least not while the Corinthos, Quartermaines, Cassadines, Devanes, Webbers and Scorpios have different parts of the city on lock under their notorious names. Port Charles RP is a semi plotless, original character crime roleplay loosely based off of the Daytime Soap Opera General Hospital. The group in itself is highly triggering and is home to endless plots and possibilities. Each character here is created and brought to life by you. Here we encourage far fetched plots and exciting storylines that may not be seen appropriate in an average city roleplay. —Though there are six notorious families that help drive the overall plots, every character can and will play crucial roles to drive plots and development. Members are free to apply as members from one of the six families or create something new and of their own. There will be frequent plot drops and thrilling character plots happening on the dash. Plots such as death, violence, murder, pregnancy, sex, drugs and much more will come to play. Please only apply if you can handle anything that goes on within a mafia and crime related group.
