……..was not the airport, guys. This is the place in question.

You can see how many people are there, not acting like they’re at the airport at all. Most of them don’t have suitcases except the skaters, who would have suitcases for lugging their skating gear around. They’re also wearing Grand Prix Final tags that show which areas they’re allowed to access in the event. The press is also still here.

This is the outside shot of a building. It says the time, but there are no airplanes. This is the time for the event schedule. And from here, we can infer that the FS event has just ended and it’s not the next day or anything. This is right after the FS.

This is the Ice Palace in Sochi, the event location for the Grand Prix Final. IT’S CLEARLY THE SAME BUILDING.

The banquet events are held after the competitions. Yuuri and Victor danced after the rejected commemorative photo scene, where they were leaving to go to the banquet venue. That scene made Victor curious about Yuuri, which led to him eyeing the latter through the entire banquet. (And eventually dancing with him.)
