My point is how the agenda is "LA Azula is good cuz she gets humanized". First of all, og Azula also gets depth and a complex and relevant motivation. Second, knowing that all they mean by "humanization" is the fact that LA (6yo)Azula gets heavily traumatized when Ursa gets taken away is just a bit concerning. Ursa is a forever victim and her relationship with Azula completely disappears. Is that the humanizing part? A little girl gets their mother taken away and turns into a heartless evil mass murderer by the age of 15. Is that the humanizing part? Now you pity a fictional character OK, a bit condescending but OK. Is that the humanizing part tho?

This is my rewrite of the confrontation between Katara and Yon Rha inspired by NATLA S2E4. I find it ironic that in the LA, Jet and other BSS citizens are stopped in their pursuit of justice towards the people who wronged them by Katara and Zuko, two characters who's stories peaked the very moment they chose to confront Yon Rha and Ozai, aka the people who wronged them.
