Maybe instead of using their power to push untrue tabloid fodder, the girl’s parents could invest in supporting pre-teen and child friendly artists which we are sorely lacking in the music ecosystem. Literally the only new takeaways from this situation are that the media refuses to clock this as a questionable parenting decision and that we need to find a way to do Hannah Montana and Jojo Siwa sans exploitation.

Btw whether you thought it was shit or not I can’t stress how fucking hilarious it is that the protagonist’s sister’s asshole boyfriend from season one got SO POPULAR that they gave him a nail-biting, free-falling, seconds-long-blackout-level death scare in the finale and NOBODY ELSE in the show got that, despite the fact that homeboy wouldn’t number on EITHER of the main villains’s top ten of people they’d most like to see dead-eyed in a shallow grave
