I hate the argument against gun control that “people are going to obtain guns illegally anyways”. So just because crazy people are able to buy guns elsewhere and commit mass murder, might as well have them do so because the US government allows it? Gun problems won’t disappear even with gun laws but gun control DOES SOMETHING. Look at other developed countries with gun laws, there’s a reason they don’t suffer as much homicides and shootings as the US. It’s because it’s harder for someone to get a gun. I’d much rather have monsters buy their weapons illegally than having our government hand them over. But people don’t even TRY to make a difference, and out of what? Ignorance. Pure ignorance and pride and it’s fucking disgusting.

i‘m from austria. guns are banned everywhere. the last school shooting we had was in 2005. nobody got shot and nobody died. so tell me that gun control isn‘t important.

How about instead of politicians tweeting rest in peace and tweeting that you’re praying for them they actually start to do something to tackle this mass shooting epidemic we have in America.
