Olive:

It was my mom’s birthday. I don’t do anything on her birthday, nor do I do anything at any time of the year. Those ‘things’ include having flowers around her, giving water/food in front, or have a little chime, even an incense. If you come from an Asian family you would know. I don’t do any of that. But on this day I at least wanted to let them know that it was her birthday and maybe have them say hi to the photo.

I told Olive that and she replies, “I always say hi to her whenever I am in front of the picture. And I make the twins say hi too.”

It was a cloudy morning. And it was very misty. It started raining after we got up and rained on and off throughout the morning.

This is an update for Olive’s life progress.

She helped me with shopping at Target. She pretty much placed everything at the checkout, put all the bags in the cart, helped me load the car, unload the car, everything. Wow. She is currently 7 years old. Today was the very first time she helped me unload shopping bags completely on her own. I was just busy petting the dogs.

She also came up with ‘Crazy Cold Spa’ before I left for Japan, and she gave me a ‘full’ spa treatment that day. It was fun. She gave me a massage, a pedicure, and a facial. The facial was super crazy but fun(on our video). This set up came all from her creation. She ‘checked me in’ at the reception desk too!

She also mentioned about doing a ‘Toy Food Cafe’, where all the food comes with a piece of toy. That sounded really interesting which I would like to help her do it someday.

Just having fun, doing what a 7-year-old wants to do.

She also got stuff for the twins, two times in a row, for her ‘Gohoubi’ treat at Gakuen. She gets a sticker every time she gets above 80 at her weekly test and only when she earns 4 stickers does she get a prize. Her precious stickers were spent on getting stuff for her little siblings. She didn’t even bother getting the ‘2-fer’ prize either.

He said he will help me with the dishes and laundry when he turns 18.

I just loved the commitment he made.

Wynton 10-26-2019

We watched a crazy cycling competition in the mountains of Zion on TV during lunch at a sandwich shop.

We were ooh-ing and ah-ing because they go through extremely dangerous terrains.

And afterwards, he says ‘I want to do that when I’m eleventeen!’

Well, a small update.

Agatha’s favorite numbers are: 29, 19, and 9.

I think I like those numbers too! It has a hint of accomplishment. You are almost there!, you are almost done!, it’s just a small way to... I don’t know, a perfection?

Olive

After a Target dog-shaped cake pop and mango Naked smoothie Wynton says, “I’m dehydrated.”

Daddy: “You know ‘dehydrated’?”

Wiwi (with confidence): “Yea, it means ‘full’.”

We went to go see the Lion King.

She said,

‘When you get tired, you get mad. When I get tired, I get groggy.’
