One small thing, so much we can create You and me, we started something great

Several months ago I was tagged by microwaved-box in a challenge to reveal 8 facts about one of my fan characters, specifically Mag Pie. (Here is their character's 8 facts) Apologies for the long wait! I decided to integrate the facts into the drawing instead of just rattle them off in the comments because I think it makes them more memorable. It did mean extra work though, so probably a bad move. Of note: nameless Twilight / Sunset daughter now has a name! I was torn between Sunder and Zenith, but Sunder has the nice double-pun of both meaning split and also having sun in it, so there we are.

I doodled these ponies for fun based on prompts from this generator, but after doing so it occurred to me that people might like their designs enough to want to own them. So they're purchasable! Each costs $5 through paypal. Since they're drawn as chibis, their genders (as well as their names) are all up to the adopter's decision.

I decided to try creating some “Next Gen” characters, which is the term I see people use for children of the MLP cast.

I don’t really see Rainbow and Fluttershy as the types to want children, but I also think they’d both be passionate about taking in a little one in need of a loving family. And so I thought, what if they adopted someone who really needed their unique talents? So, a baby griffon!

More Fusion(ish) Pony Adoptables! Like last time, these generally aren’t based on ships I like or support, just random combinations of characters from a generator. The intention was to create designs that stand up well as ponies in their own right, not just a combination of two characters.

Because they are all designed with unique body types and poses, they are $10 each!

Mossy Moe has always had an interest in gardening, but not the usual pretty flowers that you’ll find at the average pony florist; Moe prefers the ‘weirder’ and ‘uglier’ plants, and enjoys caring for them and casually studying them. She names all of her plants; other ponies are amazed by her ability to recognise and name all of them individually, no matter how similar they are, but she says she doesn’t see the resemblance. Chrysanthemum is a loner who lives in the dark woods, away from other ponies. Rumour says that if you find yourself in a desperate situation, she can provide you with a potion to help; however, it will come at a price. They also say that her hair hides the stump that is all that remains of her horn, but maybe rumours aren’t so trustworthy...?

Prim N’ Proper is an old-fashioned sort of pony who tutors high society fillies in etiquette. Despite her slightly stuffy appearance she’s a master of handling any situation; ponies still recall fondly the ball that was saved by her using the toothpick from a martini as an impromptu needle to repair an expensive gown, while the wearer was still dancing in it!

Cherry Bakewell’s mother surprised her when she came out as transgender by insisting on teaching her the family recipe for their favourite baked treat. “This recipe has been passed down from mother to daughter in our family for generations,” she said, “and I’m certainly not going to break tradition!” Cherry was worried that her awkward size and clumsiness would make her mess it up, but despite the kitchen ending up looking like an explosion had gone off, the result was delicious. “I believed in you from the start!” her mother reassured her as she tearfully admitted her relief, “that’s why you’re called Bakewell!” (SOLD)

Bleeding Heart discovered at a young age that she had a remarkable gift for healing magic, and her family encouraged her to study medicine, as they felt she had the capacity to help so many other ponies. The fees for doing so were steep, though, and Bleeding Heart began to feel a bitter resentment for being saddled with the task. That is, until the day she realised that if she reversed her spells and caused patients pain, they were willing to do anything to be healed... even open their wallets. (SOLD)

Concept / Design doodles for a new character named UFO Catcher. She is based on claw machines, specifically japanese ones known as UFO catchers. She combines my love of cute objects with my love of space. She’s intended to be chubbier than the average pony but I’m not sure I conveyed that well.

Beautybloom is a chocolatier and Goldilocks restores antique teddy bears, as well as repairing well-loved bears for ponies who don’t want to say goodbye to them.

I felt bad that my attitude to this OC had been coloured by someone stealing them to use for nsfw roleplay 😩 so I decided I should draw her again. I genuinely do like her, and she was designed by someone else just for me, so she feels a little special in that regard. Idk
