polyship prompts

i don't have any new prompts yet but uhhhhh. anyone have any crossover polyships? not counting characters that are part of the same overarching series even if they're from different parts of it that don't really connect to each other as crossovers for this because it is still technically same series

imagine a and b of your ot3 being a couple that broke up (for whatever reason), and b is now with c. however, a and b still have some underlying feelings for each other (and. tension with each other) which c notices. and, well. c finds a cute, too, so rather than get mad or anything, c just tries their best to help a and b get back together, too (and get with a, themself, in the process)

imagine person a and b both have horrible families they're estranged from. c is mutual friend who has a wonderful family. somehow, c ends up inviting a and b over to meet their family. cue a and b getting to see what a good family is supposed to look like, and perhaps being a bit envious of c. from then on, c ends up inviting a and b over more often, so that they can experience the familial love they never got. (and maybe in the process c realizes exactly why they care about a and b so much. bonus points if c thinks a and b are dating.)

imagine person a and b can be doing anything (from acting cute to outright fighting) and c will take the opportunity to snap pictures of them. c has a huge album on their phone that's just a bajillion photos of a and b together. c loves looking through it when they're feeling down or lonely.

imagine person a and b are childhood friends. c is a classmate who's frienemies with a and friends with b. c, seeing how close a and b are, assumes they're crushing on each other/dating. b, seeing how much tension is between a and c, assumes they're crushing on each other/dating. and a, seeing how often b and c are on the same wavelength, assumes they're crushing on each other/dating. cue all three caught up in a big misunderstanding in which they each think they're the third wheel and are bitter/sad about it. eventually one of them says something and the other two are like “wait i thought YOU were dating a/b/c!” and then they all realize they're idiots and start dating.

imagine a, b, and c are human-animal hybrids who've been together since they were younger. a is the leader, b is sunshine personified, and c is doomed by the narrative. there's a prophecy about c that says they're going to be the downfall of a and b. c hides it from a and b because they don't want to be hated. when a and b find out, they don’t blame c and promise c they'll find a way to break the prophecy together. (based on a dream i had last year that i can't stop thinking about.)

imagine your polyship trying to order takeout, but nobody can agree on what to order. how do they solve this issue? do they order from multiple places to please everyone, do they rock paper scissors and whoever wins gets to pick, do they try to compromise and find a place everyone likes? something else?

imagine your polyship all getting home from work at the same time, physically tired and emotionally drained, collapsing into a pile on the couch or in someone's bed, and just resting for a bit before ordering takeout

imagine your polyship playing dnd together. what class does everyone make their characters? who makes their character blatant self-inserts versus getting suuuuuper into the roleplaying aspect and making a character who is basically the complete opposite of them? who's taking the game seriously and who is just there to fuck around and mess with everyone else?
