existence is fleeting

WARNING : LONG ASS POST AHEAD.

First and foremost I want to thank every single one of my followers. It might not seem like a big deal but back when I was still young and ready to meme, all your love for my shitty attempts at memeing really meant a lot. I’d also like to thank the abop bois for being entertaining and introducing me to their small but amazing fandom. I want to thank all abop blogs for making the tag so great with their meme-tributions. 

Although I’m sad to announce the closing of this blog, which is figuratively my baby and my pride and joy, I’m not gonna lie to myself and pretend I’m ever gonna continue on it. Honestly, going through uni has caused me to have a severe change of interests and I hardly have the time for this blog anymore. Even though I’m never going to return, I’ll leave this blog up because it’s memories that I never want to forget. Its my meme legacy. Also this means that @abopaesthetics will also be inactive unless someone wants to take over.

I’ll never forget how excited I was to make posts, whether it be art, audio or just plain shitty text posts. Or the gratifying feeling that people actually liked what I did, or that I actually inspired some people to start up their own blogs. Even when people would send me asks about random things. I felt useful and that was more than I could ever ask for.

I have met many amazing people through this small little fandom and I’d like to personally thank them even if some of them might not remember me.

Dear anyone who can be bothered to read,

I just want to start this off by saying that I only got into ABOP in about this time last year. This small but incredibly cozy tag has kept me afloat for the past year and for that i’m extremely thankful. Due to the lack of content put on both the tag and the kiddos youtube, everything is very slowly dying. This year has taught me a lot about what it’s like to feel disappointment and learning to let go - through that I have become possibly the best version of myself i’ve ever been. 

I’ve met so many amazing people through the tags and the group chat and I’m so happy that our paths collided. Although I haven’t stayed in contact with the majority of them, I want to let them know that I think of them all the time. 

I believe this post in particular has been a long time coming. 

No, i’m not deleting my account or leaving or killing myself (much to peoples shock). I’m simply making the future of this blog uncertain - much like Alex has done with the pwnagemcgee channel.

One thing I want you all to remember is that the boys are all growing up. I doubt the channel will even make it to 100 podcasts. I’m so proud of them all.

After spending time on fan fics, making really dumb edits and text posts, skipping classes for livestreams and even being lucky enough to send the boys a package, i’ve been able to meet so many of you. You’re all so incredible and funny. 

Next year I’ll be in my last year of high school and with the amount of pressure on me to succeed, i’m probably, for the most part, going to be absent a lot. Year 12 is really important to me as it is for a lot of people and I hope you all understand.

i’ll probably be active occasionally when I have a free second but considering this year and how busy I was, I doubt it’ll get any easier.
