first image was a p old idea from 2 years ago (see doodle below), which was owen playing musical chairs w himself. i decided to keep the lines of the original, and added in the fairly simple background, kept the distorted perspective as well, to give the impression theyre in a room too cramped for a two-person game

second image is white's self-portrait of himself, from a mirror reference. i was inspired by whenever white's body is described to have a translucent quality if you look a little closely. he is fading...not really...but he lacks a sense of self outside his relationship to his twin brother. the picture he paints of himself might even be realer than his own talking, thinking, tangible apparition that exists and is known by the living .

the third image was drawn purely from wanting to see white and snow's bodies blend in w the snow. my friend said it looks like they died together ! :( the image song i had for it was time by alan parsons project, a huge contribution in trying to nail down the exact atmosphere i wanted.

fourth image is a picture of figaro and lennox on the rheita mountains with a flock of sheep. two shepherds...with figaro of course, being a shepherd of people.
