what if he gifted it to her? where does he sleep.

he’s traveling too much! he was literally her personal guard. whether or not you believe zelink is romantic, link cares about zelda. he’s gonna leave her alone, without protection?

zelda has the well because she wants a break! if they’re not sharing the house, why can’t she use the house instead?

And for the last one I honestly believe that (outside of having an actual meta game design purpose) it's meant to be a running joke, because even at the beginning of the game, people think Link isn't the Link:

This happens throughout the game, often. Npcs do not think Link is the Link, Zelda's swordsman and the Hero of Hyrule. They think he's just a random blonde traveler. This is why they talk to him the way they do, why they explain who his own friends are to him. Dialogue like this just happens way too much for it to not be a deliberate writing choice.

Lance was a ghost who was murdered and his body was put in a silo. Keith is a (ghost?) hunter who finds him and then they bond and stuff. Lance listens to CDs because there’s nothing else for him to do, he lives under the floorboards. Hunk always visits and leaves out food for Lance because he misses him.
