 ‘ ehh – i’m hot blooded, i warm up quickly enough. also, i’m just a nice person. super hero and all, i’d be pretty unpopular if i didn’t get the kittens from trees and what not.’ a shrug, brushing green hair off her shoulder. the flicked strands bursting into a flame to a second – drying itself instantly. ‘ i’d love hot chocolate - almost as much as starbucks. they open that late around here ? i’ve honestly never been to one not in south america – embarrassing, i know. no where near the it girl vibe i’m trying to give off. i think it might also be the hair. but don’t quote me on that.’

“that sounds awesome, so hell yes. and i like relaxing, lor.” lori gave a mock pout. “also i totally don’t brood.”

“Absolutely darling right? I know,, you don’t need to tell me.”

“I fell into Chipotle like, twice today. Gotta love food babies.”

          SMART GIRL. KNOWLEDGE WAS BY FAR ONE OF the most powerful things that they could have in their arsenal, alongside the abilities they had been blessed with. erik was already impressed, but he was fully aware of the challenges that this would come with. lorna knew exactly who he was and what he did. some people couldn’t get past those things. “if only others were so inclined to be aware. yet, history merely continues to repeat itself year after year.”  that was expected. the word murderer was no bother to erik. he did what had to be done for his cause. “the school can only help you so much, lorna. their goals will never be achieved. i do what must be done. if i must play the role of the villain, so be it.”

     “ hm — maybe. other then dat, I like to keep tings fresh.” he retorts, once more – though he had to admit that the back and forth was fun, she was one of the only people in his life who didn’t want to hit him over the head — but there was still time. “ Still, true. I’d rather lie with you den some other person in dis town. “ an eyebrow raise, for comic relief. “ beautiful, “ he follows her words. “ Remy been told he has a stunnin’ personality, borderline annoyin’, but that’s all stormy, not me. “

   ‘ should  you  wear  a  warning  sign  then? ‘ alex  can’t help but laugh a little; lorna always had this goofy aspect to her own sarcasm, he would know. though, the bring up about family takes away  from the prior conversation.  it’s  no  surprise  that  family’s  an  issue – — everyone had their  own  problems, but he was very sure that no one could top the problems that came with  someone who wasn’t understood; having unusual powers.  ‘  – —then shoot, dane. you know i’m not the responsible summer’s sibling right? ‘ the sarcasm is incredibly heavy. alex won’t let go of the fact scott only thinks that of him.  ‘ hey—i’m listening. ‘

    “ Remy don’ stick around for dat long, we won’t ever know. “ he retorts, a sort of familiar glint of sarcasm evident in his eyes — though he noticed her ( just now, it’s unbelievable ) there was something about her that rang familiar. in the moment of thought, he masks the intrigue with his usual sarcasm, raises a brow, and smirks at her. “ where’s da fire? Ya know somethin’ ya don’t want remy t’ ask about… like we all do. “ he pauses, resisting to answer almost purposely – “ Remy likes your eyes —- they stand out. “

            THERE WAS A SMALL QUIRK OF HIS LIPS. he had been baiting his time, waiting until he actually sought her out. these situations were always delicate, especially whenever somehow knew about him and what he did. erik would stand by everything that he did, there was no question there. others, however, did disagree with him. navigating with those particular people were typically far more difficult than others. “ah. you’ve certainly done your research.” he’s not phased by it, not in the slightest. erik didn’t hide his identity for a reason. “i am not here for help on that matter. i’ve had a while to navigate what these abilities grant me. i had thought, perhaps, you would want a mentor.”

         NOT UNUSUAL FOR PEOPLE TO KNOW EXACTLY who he was. even those outside the mutant community knew the name magneto. it was hardly difficult to get that name across in the matters that he dealt with. “that comes as no surprise. but, alright. lorna dane it is.” erik watches her carefully, gaze falling to the water bottle for the briefest of moments before his attention is once more turned to the conversation. “i make it my business to know the happenings within the mutant community. one of the things i have heard is that you and i share abilities.”

“the spa? hell yeah! we need to definitely chill and get pampered, i’m down for it if you are.”

        emerald eyes gaze around the room. alex. jean. emma. scott. warren. betsy. professor. remy. kitty. rogue. back to alex. around the room. it seems that they’re stuck together -- stuck not really the right word, but it’s all she got for the situation. “ we’re in a middle of a war and all we’ve got is each other, ” she hums, those green hues looking around the room once again. “ guess we take personal issues to a whole new level, huh, summers ?? ” lorna asks, leaning up against the couch next to him. time for a plan.

             it kinda comes out of nowhere. lorna’s stressed ( as per usual, gaining two half siblings and a mutant villain father in the same 30 day time period isn’t exactly stress relieving ), and lorna’s hanging at the mansion. THAT sorta relaxes her ( she’s learned to block her mind, so that’s a plus ). “ i don’t know. maybe with some people. but someone like him ?? he’s killed people. willingly. i don’t know if a heart like that can change. or wants to change. ”
