A Wild Pokemon Has Appeared

Roxie entered the area carefully, the smell of the berries teasing at her nose even stronger. “If we come across any lycaonrocs, or rockruffs? Their pretty friendly, I...might’ve told them about you and they were curious. Kept it a secret though, on a good note.”

“I’m sure they will!  I’d imagine you spent a lot of time with them when they were learning from you!  If you and them were really friends, they’d never forget you and might not even need your scent to recognize you!”  He didn’t miss the last part of her reply, “Maybe the ones looking at you might be trying to make you out!”

“I mean, you seemed lonely over there. So, keeping company might brighten your day!” writing that down with a smile, though the icy blue eyes had a familiar curious gleam for a second. Evelana was good with acting, despite not being able to talk.

He could only watch the doors where she disappeared through for a moment before he sighs and goes back to his phone.  People are really strange nowadays...  They only get stranger from here.

He reads on to the next paragraph stating her refusal to use one and why.  With a brow raised, he reconnects with Evelana’s eyes.  “So, owning a phone is too much for you to handle?  Elaborate.”  He’s going to entertain that.  Why not?

“Is that so?”  There was some sarcasm seasoned into that reply, but he assumed she didn’t care since his snarky remarks and hints were walked over.  Finally deciding to engage and see if it would shorten her stay, he continues.  “You must be tired of having to write every few seconds.  Too bad you don’t just use a Rotom-Phone to get your responses out quicker...” Hopefully, Evelana isn’t going to ask for his phone in particular.

“Rockruff is a really adorably energetic and spirited Pokemon!  They aren’t too easily rattled by much and are almost as curious as most feline Pokemon!  Once their focus is set on something, it’s hard to divert it!  That’s exactly how Moxie was before she evolved.”  He pointed out with a small giggle.  “I wasn’t far behind her either being that I was young at the time too!”

“If I needed company, I would’ve taken a friend with me...”  He responds sharply.  Drew isn’t studying too much, but it isn’t hard to recognize how chill and sunny Evelana is!  What’s with this girl?

“Wow, really?  I must be a really good friend in your eyes if you’d even bother to talk about me to someone else!  It makes me feel more appreciative knowing how much you care too if you’re being vague with what you say about me!”  He doesn’t know how protective of him Roxie is, but he knows its enough not to give out a location --- probably.

He wasn’t paying attention as he was walking and trying to read the map. He was trying so hard to read it as he was out on his adventure with Anubis he was walking right towards a short ledge that cut down to a lake.

That’s when the Lucario notices Riley skipping a turn --- and when his eyes went forward, Riley’s waltzing straight oward the edge of a cliff!  Just as Riley’s foot was about to leave the ground and attempt to step on nothingness, Anubis gasps and is quick to grab and pull Riley back to safety!
