(i am fully aware that the show is about terrible people who have done worse things than most of what is on this list. i also dont care)

(this is not hate towards any of jeff’s actors or people who like him)

jeff was routinely trying to pressure jackie into having sex with him and threatened to break up with her if she wouldn’t

jackie very clearly disliked their sexual encounter in the pilot, given the obvious sadness on her face and the fact that she faked an orgasm to get him to stop. jeff either wasn’t paying enough attention to notice this or he did notice and simply didn’t care, as he immediately gets her to perform a sexual act on him despite her obvious discomfort, most likely a blow job since we see her furiously brushing her teeth and looking absolutely miserable afterwards

shauna was clearly very drunk while having sex with jeff in the pilot, (slurring her words and stumbling, starting fights, tai calling her wasted and telling her to go home, jackie joking about how she can’t hold her liquor, sticking her head out of the window as they drove to try and sober up, jeff assuming she was going to throw up when she asked him to pull over) and jeff was her designated driver. she tells him very explicitly that she does not want him to finish inside her (in such a way that you can assume she’s had to tell him this before) and he proceeds to do this anyway since the encounter gets her pregnant. this is not me absolving shauna of her other sexual encounters with jeff when she was assumably sober, as many fans seem to think whenever someone brings this up. she and jeff are equally responsible for the affair and hurting jackie. but during the specific encounter that we see in the pilot, shauna is too drunk to be able to give informed consent, and jeff goes against her boundaries by finishing inside her when she told him not to

he either convinces shauna to use her crash settlement money on his furniture store, or he is completely fine with letting her do that

as an adult, he reads shauna’s journals that detail the most traumatic time in her life and uses them to blackmail her and her surviving friends, using the worst things that ever happened to them against them for money for that same fuckass furniture store because apparently the first windfall that didn’t belong to him wasn’t enough. he also punches taissa in the face during the blackmailer altercation

he showed no concern for his sixteen year old daughter when he was told that she had taken drugs in the city, had a bad trip, and needed to be picked up.

taissa ends dissociating and afraid that her sleep walking will harm her family. he places taissa in the environment that triggered her being forced to separate from her wife and child. all because he was too afraid to just ask for money upfront.

him shaming shauna for not being more protective of callie, and then when shauna finally does (saying no to lottie, who attempted to kill her with the rest of the group while callie witnessed it) he wants to be on callie’s good side, so he whines and coerces shauna to let lottie live with them—allowing lottie to get as far as she did emotionally manipulating callie in the first place.
