Like Octavius is a hit man who’s just been hired by an anonymous funder to kill this small business owner. He doesn’t know the reason and he doesn’t care because he’d quite jaded to the world and this is how he makes his money.

So he makes this huge plan and it’s really well thought out. The next night he’s following his target home, and he’d gunna push him down an alleyway and just stab him real quick then go (he doesn’t like guns, swords/daggers are much more his style).

BUT! When his about to strike there is a scream real nearby and Jed perks up and stars running to it. It’s a girl getting attacked by a bunch of thugs (cliché I know but roll with it) and Jed runs in and does his best to save this girl, but he is clearly out numbered. Octy is really torn because although he is an assassin he still has a good heart??? So then he runs in and helps Jed. When it’s all chilled out Jed thanks Octy and says he’ll walk this girl home just to be safe.

Octy completely forgets about the Hit and is just dumbstruck for a while. Wtf why would someone want to kill this man? He’s really nice??? So Octy is all like “I’ll just leave it for now” and he goes home to his shitty little apartment (and his cat!!!).

Next day he goes to a little restaurant to get a big breakfast bc wow is he hungry. He’s just perusing the shelves and who does he bump in to? Jed!

Then Jed stats thanking him and saying how they make a really good team, he doesn’t really give Octy a chance to say anything and next thing Octy knows Jed has bought him coffee and says he’ll join him at his table for breakfast.

Jed totally gives Octy them dokis. Like really bad dokis.

Be he still has to kill him?? No way, he can’t do that.

So he phones the person who hired him and tells him the deal is off. Ofc the dude who hired Octy is real pissed, and says he’ll hire someone to get him and Jed then hangs up.

Octavius just kind of crumples bc wow evening has gone to shit he should have just let those thugs kill Jed. Then he’s all no, this is his chance to change. So he goes phones Jed and tells him to meet him at that little restaurant.

Jed totally has a crush on Octy and he gets really excited. But obviously the information he is about to receive isn’t good.

Octy explains everything and tells him he will stick close to Jed so he can make sure they are both safe. Jed doesn’t believe him “you just wana stick closer to me don’t ya?” wink wonk. Octavius just rolls his eyes bc he is not getting through to him so finally he’s just like “Fine, it’s just because I want to be close to you.” And Jed’s all “knew it. Ily.”

This goes on for ages, and like they are dating but they aren’t?? It’s hard to explain but E V E R Y O N E wants them to get together ASAP. Things are kind of happy; Octy gets a job with Jed (florists. I love the idea of them as florists.) But Octy is still worried about them getting attacked out of nowhere.

Then one day, near closing time a woman comes in to the shop and Octy gets a bad feeling about her straight away. So he keeps a really close eye on her as Jed talks to her about flowers. She pulls a gun on Jed and Octy pushes him out of the way, it clips Octy on the side of his head. There is a lot of blood but he is fine, it’s just a flesh wound. The woman tries to shoot but Jed pushes her gun up to the celling and punches her upside the chin “I ain’t supposed to hit a girls, but I think I’ll make an exception here.” She curses and runs out of the shop, she’ll get them some other time.

Jed fusses over Octys wound in a panic and Octys just like “I told you someone is after us.”

They sell the shop and run off together, on the run from many different assassins.

You have to say what number claim this is!!!! For my first claim, I would put “demilarrydaley, claim 1” and for my second claim, I’d put “demilarrydaley, claim 2”

You can only claim the number of fics you signed up for. You cannot claim 3 fics if you only signed up to do 2.

You must reply to the relevant summary. You’re going to claim by hitting reply, and typing your url and claim number.

No, it doesn’t matter what your livejournal username says. As long as the url you signed up with is there in your claim, you’re golden.

You can have your friend claim for you! If you need. If you’re somehow having problems with livejournal, tell your friend what number summary you want and they can put down your url and claim number.

Before commenting, please refresh the page! This is the best way to make sure the summary you want is still unclaimed.

After commenting, refresh the page again! To make sure your claim went through and you’re the first claim there.

Primary claims invalidate secondary claims. Any first claim can overwrite any 2nd+ claim. For example, if I were to comment on a summary with “demilarrydaley claim 2” and Camille commented on it saying “ahkmenrahtrash claim 1”, then Camille would get that summary. Done deal. My claim is invalidated.

BUT, if I were to reply to a summary “demilarrydaley claim 2” and Camille replied with “ahkmenrahtrash claim 2”,  then whoever was first gets it. There are timestamps on comments, so you can easily tell. Secondary claims are first come, first serve. This is to ensure everyone who signed up gets to do something.

The following is very important! Please read:

Claiming is going to occur in rounds. There will be two rounds. First round: Only 1st claims allowed. If you’ve signed up for more than one, you only pick one during the first round. All 2nd+ claims will be deleted. This is to make sure everyone gets to do something. So, sorry to artist who signed up to art for like 5 fics, you’re probably only going to get to art for one.

The first round of claiming will last from 4pm EST Wednesday July 22nd to 4pm EST Thursday July 23rd.

Second round: Both 1st and 2nd claims. But all 1st claims will override any and all 2nd+ claims. Again, to ensure everyone who signed up gets to do something.

The second round of claiming will last from 6pm EST Thursday July 23rd until all fics are claimed.

Okay so I tried to draw a pick of the kid but it’s a bit rushed. I kinda liked the idea of them having the symbols on their body a little bit more because the symbols are on the table and the drawings a bit rushed. Also kids and arms are difficult to draw.
