⋆♡ 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭 ִֶָ.𓂃 ࣪ ִֶָ🪽

I do enjoy that movie but I can confirm there are some flaws and rather controversial topics surrounding this movie. But to start off on the more positive side there are things I do like about the movie, like Cher's cute little outfits and iconic "Ugh, as if!" As well as Cher being a popular girl on the nicer side. I liked seeing that. Although I will say she's not a perfect angel, just a little nicer than your average popular girl in older movies. But one thing I disliked about Claire was that she was racist to her maid, Lucy. 😬

Now the other flaws that this movie has includes Josh, her ex-step brother. If you never watched clueless then spoilers obviously- Cher and Josh develop a crush on each other and end up dating. People have had back and forth arguments about this, saying stuff like "They were only step siblings for a few years before their parents divorced". While that is true, the thing is Cher's dad saw Josh as his son even after the divorce with his mother. So it makes it strange, plus we never saw his reaction to them dating if I recall. Besides even if they weren't ex step siblings- Josh is a college student, 18 years old while Cher is 15 and a highschool student so like... ick. Yikes. In my book that's pretty weird. On top of that- the characters talked about adultery a lot despite them being teens in highschool. 😶

Also something else which isn't like compared to the things I listed before, but I didn't like how they made Tai change her whole style, kinda erasing her personality from before, I liked her red hair dye 😞

Okayyy now I know I've been saying a lot of criticism but I'm not saying that you can't like the movie- I just wanted to share my thoughts and what's a better way to do it than on my very own blog !? My blog my posts !! That's all I gotta say for now thooo I'm getting tired, this is the end of my Poetrymist rant so I'll c u at the next one !! 😋
