Rey fiddled with the fabric once more, swishing the skirts of her dress this way and that. Leia’s dress fit her perfectly and yet she still felt off. Rey was pretty sure she hadn’t worn a dress in her life, or at least not since she was a baby. Whatever she did, she just couldn’t get comfortable in the swaths of fabric, looking at herself in the mirror and not recognising the woman staring back.

More canon tension for Poe and Rey!

Rey withheld her judgment on Poe Dameron, who always seemed to her to be too self-involved and difficult to truly become one of the next great leaders of the movement. For someone who had survived on necessity for much of her life, the amount of time he spent maintaining his hair suggested a level of narcissism the she had no time for.

LMAO, Rey is like “This very difficult, reckless narcissist with too good-looking hair!” 

But let’s don’t forget that at the same time Rey wants to know everything about Poe and Zorii past relationships and the way Rey smiles to Pee (so playful) and often looks at his lips… hehehe.

So much tension between them, really. 

And I really adore this dynamics: Rey to Poe: “Really difficult, self-involved, control freak, narcissist with good hair.” Poe to Rey: “Really something else, amazing pilot, the best fighter, the most important member of the team”… And he really couldn’t find any word to describe her during their bickering.
