In lieu of pride month I’ve been thinking about my past thoughts over the years while I was under the belief I was cis (I was not, in fact, cis)

Aeronaut can now move the camera while above the camera (yes, this actually wasn't a basegame thing)

Aeronaut now has an "offscreen indicator" depicting where they are above the screen (and the number of balloons they have active)

This is the Aeronaut, my most recent modded slugcat and OC!

Aeronaut has the ability to (temporarily) fly by hanging from the balloons they inflate, or simply make their jumps floatier by partially inflating the sacs. Alternatively, inflating the balloons underwater makes them quite heavy water balloons, allowing Aeronaut to damage other creatures with Gourmand-like attacks. (I would have included a video of this, if not for the one video limit Tumblr has)

However, the trade-off to all of this is that Aeronaut is a very small, thin and frail slugcat. Unable to throw a spear, their only option in altercations with other creatures is flight... (pun somewhat intended)

Fun facts:

Aeronaut shares the same body proportions as the Spearmaster in-game, save for the tail.

Aeronaut is actually shorter than most slugcats, being in between an average slugcat and a slugpup height-wise (this is shown in the first image).

Aeronaut is 32.5% lighter than Survivor. (Survivor has a weight of 1, Aeronaut has a weight of 0.675. For reference, the lightest official slugcats are Spearmaster (0.75) and Slugpup (~0.5))

In the last two years I managed to realise I was aroace, slowly change all of my OCs (except Estranged) to the point that they are unrecognisable, scrap Betrayed, join lots of other people’s projects, and now I have 12 modded slugcats. I don’t know how I got here but we ball

I should probably go through them all at some point but that’s going to take a while.

I’ve also gotten a lot better at coding, so I can make more interesting scugs now!
