Known Issues and Chat :

I'm not the most fond of mobcaps (being more distinctly 18th century and certainly a little matronly in my mind) but we always need more historical hats so I thought I may as well.

My more involved projects are taking a backburner until I know more about the changes to CAS and such. I'm surprised by the reception of the Luscinia cap. Thank you. I don't imagine these will be as well liked- I apologise for any disappointment-

As mob-caps go, these are very plain and unassuming- there's a TON of interesting designs out there that I tried to edit these meshes into but after much experimenting : What you see is what you get.

Hat-Chops : Some custom hairs will sit better with the hat-chop variants compared to others. Most EA hairs should be ok but the brims of these meshes are thinner than the brims on most EA hats, so hair might peak through depending on the style, even though I attempted to get my chops as close as possible- often, the EA brims hide part of the intersecting hair and- well, these meshes aren't thick enough for that.

At certain angles the lace on the Agaric will look weird. Sorry about that but it's just one of those things.

The chin strap is kinda there for 'ah, chin strap' reasons. It does not make sense with some of the variants angle-wise : you can use it with whichever of the mobcap you want, just be aware there's no variation in chin-strap angle- so it might look stupid.

The transparent parts might look strange in certain reshade/gshade presets.

As with my previous bonnet, for the not-hat chop versions you will just have to choose the hair and bonnet combo carefully to get something that works.

No life-stage conversions this time. Sorry. I had to redo these ones enough that I'm sick of them, so I won't be touching these meshes for a little while. I'll see about conversions later down the line.

Each version is independent of the others. there are 3 shapes of bandeau for different hairstyles, then each comes in LP or HP, and there's versions of each with neck weights and without neck weights (head weights only). These are included because with neck weights, the bow tassels move accordingly with less clipping with shoulder and neck, but the bow tassels may look unnatural at certain positions when the sim moves. This version is better for gameplay.

On the other hand, the version with just head weights will look nicer in screenshots, as the shape of the bow tassels will not change according to the position of the neck (though, maybe there's some clipping in certain positions, it generally works better with custom static poses)

Converted this because it is useful for both mid 19th century headwear in general (flower crowns where the forehead is bare and flowers only appear on the side/back of head were popular then) , and also specifically the folk-wear/national costume of Ukraine from 19th century in general.

[1st row, general european headdress of mid 19th century, esp wedding headdresses worn in this style]

[2nd row, Ukrainian flower crowns in specific]

At least, that's what I think the original set is based on, due to inclusion of national flower of Ukraine (Sunflower), though as SN sets are typically a bit vague when it comes to European culture (to , it might be a blend of several European pastoral wears, maybe with Polish influence, since Poland is known for geese-farming, though the headwear there less resembles, so I say tentatively. I know no country with national bird as Goose, or otherwise symbolised by goose, so I am unsure!

As I did not design the SN set, I cannot say for certain all the influences or what national costume is exactly intended, but I hope you can enjoy regardless, and that I’ve included enough colours/swatches to adequately use in both manners.

Issue 1 : TS4 is not made for such large and voluminous dresses. Naturally, sometimes the dress will look awkward. There are positives and negatives to each approach of weighting large skirts. My approach means when a sim kneels or sits on low seats, the skirt shall clip with itself, but movement in general will be smoother.

On the other hand, high seats should be okayish. Still couldn't get it entirely correct, but it's a big improvement from the original slotrays I ended up with.

Slot-rays were assigned from default (the original slot-rays from weights were fcked up) then set 2 from body and 0.15 forward and up. (please note you will have to do the slot-rays again whenever you re-import the meshes into the package, so any edits you make of this cc, this must be re-inputed)

Changes from original SN mesh : Tassels were removed, lace portions were remade entirely and placed under the sleeves rather than over, generally edited and proportioned to resemble mid-19th century dresses. A ton of recolours made. Decals and other details weren't converted, it's just a 'plain' version of the dress.
