Bringing you the Straw Hat pirates from One Piece! Luffy and the gang are on their 1155th adventure with lots of fighting and eating~ I don’t think could fit all that is One Piece into a singular piece so I’ve decided to break it down into the different ships and crews. Who would you guys want to see next?

I haven’t posted as much art as I’d have liked to lately… but I’m trying to change that. Something like new year resolutions … sorta. Anyways, even if my digital activity has been low, doesn’t mean I haven’t been drawing! Here’s a photo dump of a bunch of sketches using my fancy new fountain pens! I kinda got into a new hobby… but it’s totally art related! So it’s all good right? ^^;; anyways, please enjoy

practicing my animation while also announcing the return of my webcomic!

it's been a while since i posted anything about my webcomic... but i just wanted to share some of my favorite moments from it. i hope i can organize some time to work on it again... art is such a good way to process my thoughts and feelings in ways that i can't explain with regular words...

did a little speed paint cuz outside is perfectly curl-up-with-a-book-by-the-fireplace/window-and-listen-to-the-rain type of weather. i wanted to paint the big heap of fallen yellow/orange/red leaves on the right, but i got tired and gave up. maybe i'll add it in later.

sometimes i try to remember my animation roots with little gifs like these.

i started experimenting with smaller forms of my "pocket worlds" using just a single pokemon on/in a square of environment they'd be found in. i'm actually really excited and pleased with how these came out! i also thoroughly enjoyed adding the different text popups displaying their name and pokedex number, or ability they're using, kind of like you'd see in battle in the games. i hope to do more of these, and maybe even experiement with other IPs and characters.

My hubby is really into pokemon cards, so really these are his ideas lol, I just brought them to life. i just like collecting my fav pokemon and cards that i think look cool/cute... like slowpokes, snoms, tandemaus/maushold... lol
