is Din and Maul's relationship reliant mostly on their shared adoration for a little guy? absolutely

So it’s Maul getting bombarded with love in its purest form for months before he starts to really get it, you know? Like he has to change his mindset from relying on rage to relying on love. I think he’d WANT to show affection to Din, but wouldn’t know how, which of course would make him angry and then he’d lash out and they’d have ANOTHER FIGHT before Maul figured his shit out.

anyway here's two examples of how Din and Maul's "relationship" works out at first. Din definitely knows more about the odd traits and rituals of so many different people and species across the universe, and Maul knows manners from being raised by Palpatine in Corusant, so sometimes it gets frustrating dealing with eachother.
