You can call me Olive (she/they/he), and I’m a self-taught artist from the USA! I don’t sell my artwork, and I’m planning on mostly just posting fandom doodles and stuff

I’m part of many different fandoms though, so expect to see a variety of stuff! I may take suggestions, but I won’t do commissions and I don’t draw nsfw so if you’re looking for that, sorry, but I’m not the one for you lol

I’m relatively new to tumblr, and even newer to posting my art online (I’m very shy lol) so please be gentle with me! I don’t claim to be perfect, and just wanna share some of my ideas with people who might be interested in them too :)

Uhh also the usual stuff… DNI if you’re any kind of bigoted, proship, pedos, zoophiles, etc. Everyone else is more than welcome as long as you aren’t harming anyone <3 Don’t repost my art without credit and my permission, don’t use it to generate ai imagery, and don’t otherwise steal it (obviously)

I really struggled translating Viktor’s leg disability into his mermaid form since octopuses are naturally regenerative, so I gave him one leg that’s much smaller (growing back) and thought maybe he has a made-up mermaid condition where he can’t regenerate as well, since he’s half human. Octopuses also naturally can’t swim very often because one of their hearts literally stops beating, so that already makes him a lot less mobile.

I just wanna make it clear that I had no intention of erasing his disability, even though he’s not wearing a leg brace or using a mobility aid here! And if people have other ideas for how to make mermaid!Viktor equivalently disabled I’d love to hear them <3
