Both of my butch partners harbored this really intense resentment towards me because I’m femme. Like they always found ways to tell me that I could never possibly understand true real bigotry because I’m feminine. Mind you both of them were white and had families who openly accepted them. And they always talked about how my interests and hobbies were so vapid and stupid. And of course expected me to take on all of the domestic responsibilities because I’m the feminine one. Like you can’t say you love or even like your partner if you just silently hate everything about them.
