Britechester Square Collection

The idea for this collection came up on Thursday night after seeing Washington Square to take inspiration for my story and I decided to create it. Consists of tree Victorian dresses that I needed to wear in my Pride Flag Legacy so I decided to do the full combo with the iconic bonnets from @linzlu

I finally have a little more time to finish my 1000 followers gift! Here's a set of conversions of several beautiful hairstyles from @buzzardly28 and @simstomaggie that were super needed for my life.

Victorian Visions I: A Mini Collection

Hello, all! It's finally here - the first of ?? late Victorian sets inspired by the years 1897-1898. I apologize for the awful preview pic, but I just do not have the time to properly stage and pose at the moment. I simply wanted to release this set, now that it's finally done! TODDLER BATHTIME OVERRIDES by xBrilliantsims

Me and my excellent photoshop skills are back with another small override to improve the quality of historic gameplay!

It felt weird when my decades sims in the 1890′s started bathing her toddler and the sponge was a pink teddy and the duck was too bright.

So… now the sponge is a spongey color, the teddy face… not completely gone but not as visible, and the duck is wooden. Ahh… much better!

You can get them both or separately. Maybe you just want a wooden ducky or a brown sponge. The merged one is simply called Bathtime_Overrides. Not need to get the ones called ducky and sponge if you get that one.

Please note that this is an override of the original and will replace them. If you want the pink sponge and yellow ducky back, just remove the package(es) from your mods folder.

@simchronized‘s Lookbook Challenge: Decades 

So I’ve decided to go way overboard for this part of the list. I’m doing 20s, 30s-40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s lookbooks. I absolutely love vintage cc so it was really a fun one.

I never thought I’d make one of these but I’ve had so much fun dressing the Darlingtons that I wanted to give it a go!

Here is Mrs. Adelia Darlington in the early 1890s. Her style is conservative but still decadent and eye-catching. She prefers rich tones, especially blues and purples, both for drama and to bring out her blue eyes and black hair. Most of her fabrics and hat details are chosen with this same sense of decadence.

I imagine that Adelia has a bit of a shopping problem. Even as her savings grew lower, she couldn't help but buy the latest fashions, which she tells herself are to keep up appearances in public.

For this reason, there is a clear divide in her silhouettes. Her house dresses have the simpler shoulders, princess line bodice, and large bustle of the 1870s and early 1880s. Since these aren’t often seen by the public, she has less inclination to replace them. However, her going out, party, and formal fashions all have trendy bell shaped skirts and gigot sleeves, to project a sense of wealth to the world.
