This creature was much taller than Marro -- taller than Luugi, even -- with the same amount of bulk in it's limbs. It's features were mostly blocked out by smoke -- wherever that had come from, he had no idea.

Four pairs of lavender eyes pierced through the smoke. The Nosk's four pairs of eyes.

LUUGI, GET DOWN! THERE IS A MONSTER IN OUR HOMESTEAD!

Luugi ducks under a table like the coward he is.

Marro stands his ground and faces the Nosk head on.

What? You think I'm backing away too? Oh, no, no, no. You should be the one backing away.

Marro was clearly fixed on the common "Nosks are inherently evil" mindset.

The Nosk's lunge brushed against a chest of drawers, knocking over lots of things and breaking some.

One of the things broken was a picture frame depicting his mother, Isma.

That made Marro livid.

Now, listen here, SHADOW.

Marro lunged in retaliation, trying to pin down Skynx with his bulk. He aimed for the pouch where Nosks store most of their vital fluid, Lightblood, so that it would pop.

Mario chokes on the stench of Skynx's spilled insides.

He stares at the corpse for a while, only stopping to remind Luugi that the beast has been felled.

After a little more staring, the brothers spent the rest of their day cleaning up all the mess, leaving the body of the Nosk.

Marro plans to sell it.
