2) a company headed by a zionist was collecting the IDs and stated locations of Ghazzans.

But I will say, after having staff in my DMs talking down to me about scammers and now this? This whole situation isn't coming as a complete shock. I was reached out to by staff prior to this happening (like earlier this year), and was sent a list of the same "signs of scammers" that zionists were weaponizing against us (and still are, I suppose).

They couldn't provide me with any solid proofs of people being scammers beyond weak arguments and the classic "just trust me, bro" They did not want to listen to or take in my perspective, which is built on my lived experience as a Palestinian, knowing Palestinian culture, knowing how we talk and our attitudes and how to communicate. And they insisted that they were right and I was wrong. They dismissed any clarification I gave on the vetting process and how Gazans on tumblr operate. They dismissed when I pointed out the flaws I saw in their own methods.

And I didn't press the issue at the time, just said that I'd be careful and moved on. My friends and I kept brainstorming to take more measures to make sure we were even more strict and even more careful that every single person we add to our list is legit.

(side note: they proved they were staff by answering a months old ticket where I'd reported blog #398534394 by that ox/ford comma loser, as if he hasn't remade another billion times since then. And I know this post is about something else, but WILD that this dude's been allowed to harass Palestinians on this site for YEARS and staff does nothing about him)

Anyway this is staff, yet again, thinking they know better than Palestinians, speaking down to us, acting like we don't know what we're doing or what we're talking about.

I was told that if I wanted to check on blogs, I could just submit a ticket and send it to staff and they could run a check to see if it's legitimate, and honestly? With staff's track record of deleting Palestinians on this site? People like Mohd Ayesh who has time after time proven he is a real genuine Gazan. This man was trekking through a war zone, putting himself though intense stress to do this for YOUR benefit. So you can have peace of mind knowing that you're donating to real legitimate people. And tumblr staff seemed to be certain enough he's a scammer apparently to delete his blog every single time he remade it.

He made a pinned post where he just 'doubts' my methods and attempts to call me a liar. Then he anachronistically accuses me of being incorrect with my vetting. His logic? He was looking at the result of updated information from a day ago and then accusing it of being wrong because I had been alerted to and discussed the suspicious behaviour back on the 2nd of August. The entire timeline is in the red link on my pinned post but this fucker will do anything but admit he was wrong.

If Basel clicked on a weird link on a website he's not familiar with and got hacked and his blog acted out and put me in a difficult situation where I had to revet his cousin and then him; well that's apparently too hard to believe he's actually a porn bot guys!!!

I haven't told him to kill himself like he accused me of doing in the pinned post and I'm fairly certain you can all see that on my blog lmao. But anything to play the victim of a hate campaign YOU started against Palestinians.

See the way he spoke to him? Well now he's trying to get people to harass me.

I am not ready to be back on here, and I really don’t know what to even say. For the last week I have been in an inpatient programme, and I will continue to be here for the next 8 weeks. I have limited access to my phone/internet/etc during this time, so I can assure you that any new accounts that say they are me are just trying to scam for money or followers or whatever they think they can gain from pretending to be me. 

i don’t think it’s necessary to go into too much detail, but long story short she chose to deactivate her own blog, it was not done by tumblr. she has not remade her account, and if she ever does return to tumblr it 1. won’t be for a while and 2. it will be obvious it’s actually her and not an impersonator. 

she apologizes to all the families in gaza who relied on her to share their story, and hopes that in her absence others will continue to boost them. 

in regards to the raffle, she is devastated that rafflesforpalestine ended i getting caught in the crossfire when she had to delete her account. she put so much work into it, and she knows every person involved also put so much work in. she apologizes for putting herself over her fundraising efforts and hopes no real damage has been done. (with her having said this, I AM saying that there is no reason at all to worry ibtisam with anything having to do with the raffle/fundraising/anything really. if you have any concerns, questions, think there’s a way i can help you, please reach out to me.)

Children were terrified by the sound of the earthquake😭

This is how my children are terrified every day by the sound of bombing. When my son Muhammad hears this sound, he stops eating, drinking, and talking to others for a whole day until he begins to forget this terrifying sound, then the sound returns again the next day and the scenario is repeated.

For the sake of these children, stop the war on Gaza, stop the bloodshed.
