Adachi was wasting time in his apartment with a drink at hand. The TV casting a colourful glow in his apartment and changes colour every so often.

It’s almost midnight, the time where some channels would show horror-themed shows that would fit the time.

Oh…..I’ve already seen this.

Instead of focusing on the TV, Adachi’s eyes wonder to his window and their attention are immediately caught by a shock of blond hair in the dark night.

"…..Huh?"

Adachi gets up from his seat and looks out the window. The blonde hair belongs to a young girl.

What’s a young girl doing out here near midnight?

Turning off the TV, Adachi heads out of his apartment and to the street.

At least, she admitted, until she came about the apartment complex.

The man looked youthful — the type that could pass for handsome if he somehow “grew” into it. Naturally his question was addressed to her; weird as it was for a child to wander around in the dead of night.

With a click of her heels, the demon sharply turned to face him.

「!?」 Am I lost? Really, I couldn’t say. I have no idea where I am, but lthere is also nowhere I need to be.

But… are you “lost” too, Mister? Or were you interested in making small talk with a girl like me?

「!?」 Familiar names all around. I’m not one to concern myself with the will and lives of others, but don’t get yourself killed indulging in your work.

Of course, I guess you can’t actually “die”. It must be lovely to be related to household appliances. But I digress…

Keep it in mind to summon me next time. Uncle Red and Uncle Black are fun, but nothing beats being in the meat of a conflict with lives on the line.

「!?」 Especially for a Wild Card; their existence is both all and null. I’m sure that Mister Igor filled you in with his usual pep-talk.

The blonde girl clicked her heels on the ground in a jaunty little tune. To talk to a person, robotic or not, was a true treat compared to chatting with other Personae or slaying shadows for sport.

「!?」 You may already know, but he had no regrets at the end.

Was she even aware that the Personae held their own, individual sense of awareness? Considering that they were often parts of others psyche, it was there to assume.

Thinking of minor details like that wasn’t usually in Alice’s nature. Rather she’d just swing with her usual shtick with a polite curtsy and an award winning grin.
