Does anyone else feel like sometimes lifting is way too easy? I found the most perfect, amazing mall no the way home from my relative’s house. hi, i saw your barnes and noble post, i used to work at a barnes and noble, here are some tips:

Beyond just basic lifting tips I can let you in on some observations I’ve made about my stores. 

There is normally an SA stationed right by the entrance. All SA’s communicate through head sets. Lots of the novelty items like instax mini’s have spider wraps on them. UO has totes for things, I would suggest using them to your advantage. My UO’s only have camera’s in the sale section. I like to conceal in home goods because it has the most displays to block me from someone’s line of sight. 

Based on things I have read on hear, some stores have magnet detectors but I have never gotten weird vibes in mine when I walk in with my magnet. So use your judgement and feel out the situation.

It varies from location to location, but the top 3 I’ve been to are

Old Navy: Great for those doing clothes for the first time, every Old Navy I’ve ever been to has had unattended dressing rooms and there are usually left over clothes in there which is great to grab if you wanna boost. I boost a lot out of Old Navy because I find the style kinda basic and don’t see any sense in keeping what I’ll never wear. They do have really cute grayscale sweaters and men’s flannels (just add stretch denim and combat boots and ur ready to slay hun) They do tag a considerable amount of stuff though.

Hot Topic: Great for all your lil emo needs, most of the dome cameras are fake (always assume they’re real tho) really lax staff (mostly high-schoolers) only tag shirts/belts/some hats. Have some really cute band shirts which I always get like 2 sizes too big because you can be lowkey emo and comfy as fuck at the same time. Probably the easiest on this list and one of my favorites because they usually have things I like (shit tone of Marvel products in there right now) but I don’t support the Hot Topic franchise. And theres usually a Spencers across from them or nearby so you can hit them up too. I also love that you can dress as sketchy as you want because that’s their regular customer base.

Lush: Most people are intimidated but Lush is actually really easy. Just go around the time when they’re the busiest (varies for your area but it’s around 5:30ish at the few I’ve been to) If you look even moderately upperclass and go there regularly (to the point where they stop customer surviving you to death) you can just sleeve method everything. Make sure you know what you want beforehand like what pallets/bathbombs/ect because if you go straight to an area I’ve noticed they’ll bother you less (but don’t go immediately to the product you want, you gotta act like you’re trying to find the right thing for you)
