Renee, though... is definitely the weakest of the bunch. She's in desperate need of a restyle, and the way her hair is crimped just doesn't look very flattering to me.

HOWEVER.

I must admit seeing the official Skullector Coraline has taken a lot of my excitement over working on this doll since I spent a lot of time trying to track down accessories and sewing to even finish her and I wasn't really enthused by the time I finished her.

I sewed her jeans and raincoat since I feel like this specific combination of clothes worked well for her tomboy-ish character instead of a dress, and I actually used a knockoff Coraline doll for her sweater to get the right scale pattern and fabric. I actually had to add a panel on her back closure to make it fit but I think this is the definitive Coraline outfit for me.

Her button key and butterfly hairclip are also from a Coraline charm bracelet and I like how they add to her character.

going from something that only existed in my mind to seeing them become full fledged dolls that people can enjoy is so wild. when i was working on this all the way back in december 2023, Ii could have never imagined they'd actually become real dolls one day. ngl this came as a complete surprise to me 😭 however, this is all thanks to the love and support from the fans !! yall manifested this 🩷
