PLANTS!

6/28/12 Thursday

Chris and I went to pick up lawn mower #2 which had to get the fuel line replaced while Taylor used lawn mower #1 to fix up the edges of the recently harvested alfalfa plots at FSP. 

After lunch I took pictures of all the plots and attempted to get them all onto tumblr. Unfortunately tumblr doesn't allow more than 10 photos per photo set. Looking for a solution. No success yet.

I took the (broken) lawn mower over to a repair shop to get fixed. When I came back I went to FSP to take samples from the alfalfa harvest. Chris weighed the samples and placed the samples in the oven to dry.

6/26/12 Tuesday

Alice and Becky finished cleaning/organizing the shed. With everything labeled it will be much easier to find things we are looking for.

Aaron, Clay, and I constructed a shelving unit at the dairy farm that we can use for storage. Its not fully complete yet because we need to get more plywood and add support beams for extra support in the center.

We also helped Chris try to figure out what was wrong with the lawn mowers but couldn't fix the problem. We loaded it into the truck to be taken to the repair shop the next morning.
