’ Why are you all wet? ‘
’ Aloha! ’
’ You’re vile. You’re foul. You’re flawed. ‘
’ Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten. ’
’ If you want to leave, you can. I’ll remember you, though. ’
’ I remember everyone that leaves. ’
’ You! You’re the cause of all this. ’
’ This is my family. I found it all on my own. Is little, and broken, but still good. Ya. Still good. ’
’ Oh, good! My dog found the chainsaw. ’
’ No more caffeine for you. ’
’ Did you lose your job because of me? ‘
’ The managers a vampire. He wanted me to join his legion of the undead. ’
’ Trust me, this isn’t gonna end well. ’
’ I’m sorry I bit you. And pulled your hair. And punched you in the face. ’
’ GIve us a sign you understand any of this. ’
’ Show us that there is something inside you that is good. ’
’ I didn’t teach him that. ’
’ Come on, what’s the big deal? ’
’ Leave my mother out of this. ’
’ You are such a pain. ’
’ Then why don’t you sell me and buy me a rabbit instead? ’
’ I hate it when you use Ohana against me. ’
’ I’m lost. ’
’ Don’t interact with her. ’
’ Oh, we can’t do that. Uh-uh. That would be a misuse of resources. ’
’ Why do you act so weird? ’
’ You look familiar. ’
’ We’re a broken family, aren’t we? ’
’ I shouldn’t have yelled at you. ’
’ You are built to destroy. You can never belong. ’
’ We need something that can defend itself. Something that won’t die. ’
’ I hear you cry at night. ’
’ Do you dream about them? ’
’ You came back. ’
’ Nobody gets left behind. ’
’ I need someone to be my friend. Someone who won’t run away. ‘
’ His destructive programming is taking effect. ’
’ Did you ever kill anyone? ’
’ Are you.. happy? ’
’ I am the one they call when things go wrong and things have, indeed, gone wrong. ’
’ Our family’s little now, and we don’t have many toys. ’
‘ If you want, you could be a part of our family. ’
’ We’d raise you to be good. ’
’ She likes your butt and fancy hair. ’

’ Not guilty! My experiments are only theoretical, and completely within legal boundaries. ’
’ He was designed to be a monster, but now he has nothing to destroy. ’
’ I never gave him a greater purpose. ’
’ What must it be like to have nothing, not even memories to look back on in the middle of the night? ’
’ If you promise not to fight anymore, I promise not to yell at you, except on special occasions. ’
’ Stupid head. ’
’ Did you catch fire again? ’
’ This is your badness level. It’s unusually high for someone your size. We have to fix that. ’
’ Don’t leave me, okay? ’
’ Do you want to be taken away? ’

Greys Anatomy Season 2 Voice Overs part one
“Emotions are messy.”
“Sometimes you’re faced with a cut that won’t heal.”
“There’s something about the possibility of more.”
“More tequila. More love. More anything. More is better.
“There’s something about a glass half full.”
“Sometimes all we want is a taste.”
“There’s no such thing as enough.”
“The glass is bottomless.”
“All we want is more.
“There’s no fear. There’s no pain. You’re ten feet tall and bulletproof.”
“No one wants to lose control.”
“It’s a sign of weakness.”
“There are times when it just gets away from you. When the world stops spinning.”
“No matter how hard you fight it, you still fall.”
“If there’s an upside to free falling, it’s the chance you give your friends to catch you.”
“The key to surviving is denial.”
“We deny that we’re tired. We deny that we’re scared. We deny how badly we want to succeed and most of all we deny that we’re in denial.”
“We deny so much that we can’t recognize the truth right in front of our faces.”
“Sooner or later we have to put away our denial and face the world, guns blazing.”
“Pain comes in all forms.”
“Then there’s the kind of pain you can’t ignore. A level of pain so great that it blocks out everything else.”
“How we manage our pain is up to us.”
“For some of us, the best way to manage pain is to just push through it.”
“There are no solutions.”
“Just breathe deep and wait for it to subside.”
“Most of the time pain can be managed.”
“Sometimes pain gets you when you least expect it, hits way below the belt, and it doesn’t let up.”
“You just have to fight through it.”
“You can’t outrun it.”
“In general people can be categorized in two ways. People who love surprises and people who don’t. I don’t.”
“We have to be in the know because if we aren’t, people die.”
“Am I rambling, I think I’m rambling.”
“Eventually we even have to figure out how to take care of ourselves.”
“As human beings, sometimes its better to stay in the dark.”
“In the dark, there may be fear but there’s also hope.”
“Communication. It’s the first thing we really learn in life.”
“Once we grow up, learn our words and actually start talking, the harder it becomes to know what to say.”
“Every now and then, some things simply speak for themselves.”
“All the other girls were jealous but I had a slightly different take.”
“Juliet was an idiot.”
“When fate comes into play, choice sometimes go out the window.”
“I wouldn’t let some guy drag me down.”
“Even now, I believe love is about choices.”
“Sometimes despite all your best choices and best intentions, fate wins anyway.”
“We’re supposed to be happy. Grateful. For maily, for friends, happy to just be alive.”
“Maybe happiness has nothing to do with gratitude.”
“Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is.”
“Maybe we’re thankful for the familiar things.”
“Maybe we’re thankful for the things we’ll never know.”
“When you were a kid it was halloween candy. You hid it from your parents and ate it until you got sick.”
“You take as much of the good as you can because it doesnt come around as much as it should”
“Too much of anything, even love, isn’t a good thing.”
“How do you know how much is too much?”
“Too much information?”
“When is it all just too much to bear?”
“So the story goes - God inflicted ten terrible plagues upon the land of Egypt. First, all of the water turned to blood. Then frogs infested the land. Then lice. Wild beasts roamed free and livestock died of mysterious disease. People came down with incurable boils and it stormed, storms of hail and fire, just before the locusts came. And then – the ninth plague. Darkness. The darkness came, and it was only after. In darkness’s wake, came death.”

seesgood:
❝ I’ve seen enough horror. ❞ She murmured, stepping further into the room and looking around, arms winding around her waist. It feels like a lifetime since the bunker. Since defecting. Since her life before all of that. Now it just feels like her whole life is a series of horrors, never ending, never ceasing. As much of an optimist as she is, she can’t say she expects this new world to be any better. ❝ They’re getting people ready for cryo. We’re supposed to report to the cryosleep chamber. ❞ And she’d noticed Mattie going in the opposite direction. So she’d followed. Postponing the inevitable, as per usual.
“Maybe so, but not these ones. When your mind is already filled with your own horrors, why should you fill it with ones you needn’t know?” She moved to close another closet door, obscuring Caroline’s view of the weapons that haunted Matties nightmares. “This life, where these weapons were once a thing of torture, this is not your burden to bear. This one is mine, you certainly have plenty of your own.” A pause and then her chin tilts up and her shoulders set. “Yes I am aware. Which is why you ought to be there and not here. I have to be one of the last to sleep anyways, you however, ought to be going under soon.”

Leah looked down at the costume in her hands and rolled her eyes. “ Listen, we could go raid the scrub machine by the cadaver lab if you want to be authentic but this is the best I got. ” She tipped her cheap cowboy hat at her roommate with snark as she shook her head. “ You can sleep tomorrow, and no one said you have to smile at the gross boys, glaring has gotten me laid many times. Something about mystery. ”
Pulling herself up from the bed, she groaned and moved to take the costume from the other girl. Though, she didn’t altogether think a few scraps of material that just barely concealed her ass counted as much of a costume. Still, she wasn’t going to argue anymore, knowing it would get them nowhere. “I have no interest in getting laid by the types of boys at this party.” Thoughts drifted to Huck, but lips remained closed. “Barbarians, each and every one of them.”
Like this for a short starter.
“When fate comes into play, choice sometimes go out the window.”
@prcphesiied // acceptingShe’s quiet as the words wash over her only because they’re so truly asinine that she has to develop a proper response. “You sound like a child.” She said the words cooly. “Talk of fate and lack of choice as if there’s some greater plan, some greater being, something leading us.” She was almost angry. It reminded her too much of concepts that she thought were long left in the past. “Stupid, foolish, girl, you have no idea the kindss of wars you could start with talk like that. No idea the kinds of horrors you could bring upon all of us when you start spouting these ideas. They’re not real. There’s no evidence, nor has there ever been, that anything along the lines of destiny or fate has ever existed. Every Religion in history just a story we told children to breed fear, to keep our people in tight little boxes of well poised behavior that led to bloodshed time after time after time. There’s no such thing as fate. Things do not occur for some unprecedented reason. Things happen because someone calculated or miscalculated. They happen because they were planned, or because they weren’t. They happen because of the butterfly effect. Every choice leads to other choice, leads to different outcomes, leads to paths that lead different places. Things happen, and things can be controlled if you only attempt to look further forward than the tip of your own nose.” She stood from her chair at the controls and shoved past Harry, out of the room for a needed break. She could not sit here, could not have this discussion. Not now when she thought she was free of these sort of beliefs.

the prisoners. aren’t ( human ). ft. @plaguenumbernine, @ofancrchy & @cryoprisoner

“ Wake the fuck up, you’re snoring. ” Leah tossed a pillow heavily at the face of her roommate as she paced across the carpet. “ Plus it’s way too early to be asleep so get up and get dressed. There’s Halloween parties all across campus and you snore less when you drink. Or maybe I hear you less when I drink. Either way, put this on. ” Leah shoved the small bundle of fabric at her roommate as she shook her awake.
@plaguenumbernine // random college roomie inspired starter for mattie
Body startled awake, eyes narrowing in annoyance. “That was rude, Leah.” She huffed, as if it mattered. Rude was her roommates usual state of being and while it had angered her in the beginning, she had grown to appreciate the brashness of the girl. “I was awake all night writing an incredibly complex paper on the history of political parties in the United States and I would appreciate an hour worth of sleep if I am expected to wear a slutty nurse costume and smile pretty all night long while gross boys try to pick me up.”
’ Do you dream about them? ’
Harry Potter // @prcphesiied
Ice ran through her veins at the very sound of the girls words and her body cemented in place as if the waves of horror that went through her paralyzed her like lightning striking her body. “Excuse me?” Her tone was harsh in her own mind but came off her lips stoic, unreadable, a talent she had perfected long ago. Bright eyes moved to the girl. She was once a prisoner, just like herself, and maybe that should have brought a sense of familiarity to Mattie’s heart but it didn’t. Not now. She often tolerated these delinquents if only for for the sake of empathy. Fake empathy that she didn’t quite have, they made her edgy, annoyed her like buzzing insects that she truly wanted nothing to do with. This was their lot in life though. To have to learn to cope with each others presence. “What I dream of is none of your business and I’ll thank you to keep your nose where it belongs and not ask questions that don’t pertain to you.” There was no raise to her voice whatsoever and her head tilted just slightly, chin up. “Trauma leaves marks on all of us, Harry Potter. Most people don’t take well to having their scars prodded at.” She turned on her heel and fled the room gracefully, walking without seeing, moving without breathing, all the way back to the safety of her quarters before the harsh gasp of painful memory came from her chest.

She said nothing. The girl’s words hung between them in the space of the room and Mattie allowed them to think in. She allowed herself a brief moment in time to analyze the tone of her voice, the quirk of her brow, the shift of her breath. To process. To understand whether this girl truly believed that she would be followed, or whether she was clever enough to try and talk her way out of certain death by playing to Mattie’s logic. “You seem like a clever girl, Ontari of One Crew.” She stated simply, continuing her work at the control panel on the opposite side of the room. It was almost as if the other girls presence was secondary to her thoughts. Like Ontari was only barely there in Mattie’s focus, though she was very aware of the girls every breath. “Which is why I believe you know that you aren’t as important as you make yourself out to be.” She finally turned to the girl. “Or maybe you are, but not for the reasons you seem to think.” A dark, but somehow still soft smile appeared on her face. “I care very little for who those maniacs will or will not follow. They will die either way. I do however care...” She stood, crossing the room and pulling a knife from her thigh. “If your death can be the thing that saves the lives of every person that I care for.” she slid the knife down Ontari’s arm, laughing. They knew, thanks to Clarke, that it was possible, and Mattie was smart enough to make it happen. “Your death will promise us health!” she clapped, knife clattering to the floor as black blood ran down the arm of the girl tied to the chair. “ She took steps backward, running her had through her hair and taking a deep, centering breath. She was getting to ramped up. She needed yoga. She needed essential oils and space. But that wasn’t an option.
