This post talks about a new DM feature in youtube. What it fails to mention is that as part of this new feature is that when you send someone a link to a video, and they open it in the youtube app, they will see who sent them the link. Specifically, your channel name.

If your google account name is your real name, so is your channel name by default.

This means the new default behavior is that everyone you send a youtube link to will see your full name if they open it in the mobile app.

To turn this off:

Go to your youtube app settings

Go to Privacy

Turn off "Channel visibility for shared links"

A canon interracial couple exists "I just don't see their chemistry" proceeds to fanon ship [insert white character] instead, claiming they have more of a connection.

"It's not their skin color, I just don't like them for some reason, btw, here are my top 5 [insert white actors] I think are better suited"

"Not everything is about race". They say, as they prop up every white character over any character of color.

Character of color is such a bad friend for having opinions of their own/taking care of themselves instead of putting their friend [insert white character] first.

A character of color is morally ambiguous or a villain, gets redemption arc. "They're awful and haven't been condemned enough of their crimes". Stans [insert white characters] who did the exact same crimes or was a villain who's redemption arc is praised.

"Can't believe that character of color had the nerve not to die as a selfless sacrifice for [insert white character]".

"POC actress/actor is too ethnic and they'd ruin the character".

"I haven't seen racism in the fandom therefore it isn't there".

"Character of color is the main character of the show sure, but let's be honest, everyone came for [insert white character]

"Character of color is alright but I can only relate to [insert white character]".

(some chapter 3+4 spoilers, just in case) Deltarune is full of funny characters, one of the earliest being Rouxls Kaard all the way back in chapter 1. From then on, he’s a recurring character who shows up in new dark worlds looking to become an evil lackey for whoever is in charge. But after the newer chapters, I’ve been wondering more about his motivations and backstory. Why does he keep going to different dark worlds even after knowing about the risks of turning to stone? Why does he so badly want to be an evil lackey again? Darkners are still alive and can form memories even when there’s no dark fountain. It was implied before but Tenna confirms this pretty hard, having memories of Kris and their family long, long before the events of the game. It’s been made clear King missed the days of him and the rest of the card pack being played with, having become bitter towards Lightners for seemingly abandoning him and the others.

But then there’s Rouxls. The rules card is often ignored or set aside, lining up with how he’s ignored or not taken seriously in game. But it could also imply that everyone is played with except for him. So maybe he doesn’t have that connection with Lightners that King or the rest had. He might not even really miss it because there was nothing for him to miss. But Darkners are supposed to live for Lightners, what can Rouxls do if Lightners don’t even care for him in the first place? This leads to him having something of a crisis over what his purpose is supposed to be, or if he even has one at all.

Then the Knight came along, King took over, fired the puzzle makers, and just put Rouxls in charge. And for the first time, he had an actual purpose. He wasn’t good at it obviously, but that part didn’t matter. Now things were expected of him, he was finally a part of the pack. King gets defeated and everyone goes to Castle Town. But Rouxls feels it’s missing “the presence of an evil ruler”. Because an evil ruler gave him purpose before. And if there’s none in Castle Town, he’ll have to go and find one, no matter the risks.

And here’s where my wild guess about the future chapters comes in.

The real danger is the Knight. The Knight didn’t interact directly with King or Queen, but did with Tenna, even giving him instructions. The Knight was able to get Tenna to partake in their plans because he was desperate to not be abandoned. Is it really out there to think they won’t recognize Rouxls’ desperation as something they could take advantage of? After all, Rouxls is always on the winning side… TLDR: Rouxls was not played with back then, leading to him feeling unfulfilled and questioning his purpose. Being made an evil lackey gave him a purpose, and he’s desperate to have that again. But his desperation could attract the attention of the Knight, who could make him into a new pawn for their plans.

And this is what the rules card looks like. It even says to discard it and is paired with art of Rouxls looking upset. Again I know it’s just merchandise but it also feels validating to my theory/hc.

Yeah chatbots suck off rip, rping with a Gojo bot is bad and if you wanna rp you go and engage with people with common interests and yes it's scary but connecting with people is scary in general and at the very least you have a shared interest with this person. That's why you're role-playing with them in the first place.

But god I am especially disgusted by how shameless this one especially is. The fact that it outright advertises and encourages its targeted demographic (people in fandom especially teens) to fucking recreate their mutuals in that godawful app WHO ARE REAL FUCKING PEOPLE IS ACTUALLY VILE

It's so blatantly targeting those of us who do feel insecure about these things, those of us who are afraid to talk publicly about our interests and are terrified of so much as even mentioning we have ocs. It's blatantly targetting those of us who always second guess whether or not to reach out to mutuals we find cool or are intimidated by, it's preying on people's insecurities and further enforcing that shit by making these bots seem more appealing than actual human connections with all of it's necessary faults. It wants those of us who already feel lonely to be even lonelier so that they can get addicted to their app of which they proudly advertise under a cutesy #relatable aesthetic alongside uncredited stolen art of some random ass trending character.

GFM unjustly terminated Fidaa's @fidaa-family2 campaign and she lost all of the funds she'd raised so far to help evacuate her family. She has to start all over with a new campaign.

I never thought I would write such words, but war makes it impossible to remain silent in pain.

I lived with my children in a small, modest house, but one filled with warmth and love. We dreamed of the simplest things—to eat together, to go to school, to live in peace. We tried to cope with the siege, the power cuts, and the water shortages, but we always thanked God.

Then came the last war, and it took everything from us.

*In a single moment, the house collapsed on us.* I ran with my children, not knowing where to go. The sound of rockets, the screams of neighbors, the dust and smoke… everything was terrifying. We miraculously survived, but we lost everything. No clothes, no food, no toys, no safety.
