the urge to make this a main blog instead of a side blog is very strong but I'm already here and that would be so much more effort than I am capable of exerting

i'm seeing a lot of new ppl join tumblr who aren't making any spontaneous semi pathetic, oversharing personal textposts whatsoever and i just want to say you're doing it all wrong... this is not like instagram like meant to be some shiny highlight reel used to make u look good its supposed to be an incriminatingly revealing dark intimate look into your life & inner psyche while simultaneously no one knows who u are or gives a fuck... anyway hope this helps some of u get on the right track

Thinking about Gortash's "I think I will hang your corpse in the Wide—the Archduke's would-be assassin" and losing my mind over the double meaning of that last bit. Given I believe this dialogue shows up if you refuse the deal (or betray him? Not sure the exact context beyond the two of you clearly being at odds) there's the obvious meaning of "the person who tried to assassinate the Archduke and failed" but there's also another meaning. "The Archduke's would-be assassin" could also be "The assassin who could have belonged to the Archduke". His assassin the way he means when he says "My favourite assassin". Durge was his, they belonged to him and he belonged to them as equal partners. They were his assassin. They're his would-be assassin not only because they're trying to kill him and as far as he knows will fail, but because they were always supposed to be the Archduke's assassin. They've turned their back on everything the two of them planned and worked for. The Archduke's would-be assassin, who could have ruled at his side and been his knife in the dark but chose to oppose him instead.
