Today my cat Gus passed away. She was a neighborhood cat who adopted us. I’ve known her since I was 10 and she has helped me out in the worst of times. When I was suffering she would come up and snuggle me. I wish I could have helped her more in her final few days. But we loved her. I hope she knew that.

Gus was a very good cat. I made her an honorary bird and she liked getting scritches like a bird. Things that happened with Gus include

-she sat in a bag

-she rubbed against Scout the dog

-she had a theatrical reuniting with someone

-she appeared in someone else’s household on Halloween :O
