What do I need to know?
THE UNIVERSE
This is a primarily game-based server, but we take inspiration from the anime in order to expand the world and make it more lifelike and fun to explore. As such, there’s a mix of elements from both.
We’ve made some serious divergences from canon. Team Flare as a whole was never formed. Instead, our own original team, Team Python will act as the main antagonists. Lysandre and characters related to Team Flare can exist, but they will not be antagonists or know anything about Team Flare or Team Python. Canon characters, such as protagonists, will not have been on their own Pokemon journeys yet.
Because there are so many characters, Pokemon Gyms do not need to be faced in the same order as the ones in the games. They can be faced in any order.
THE GROUP / REQUIREMENTS
We’re a casual group, and as such, there are no activity requirements. However, if you’ve reserved canon characters (especially popular ones) we’ll request that you try to be a bit more active. If a member disappears for 2 weeks without prior notice, we’ll probably check in to see how you’re doing! If you don’t respond within another 3 days, your character(s) will be tentatively freed up for someone else. However, we understand that life can be stressful and chaotic, so hiatuses are perfectly acceptable-- just try to let us know ahead of time!
As we’re just starting off, there will be a limit of 3 canon characters per new member. As time goes on, sufficiently active members can request more. For OCs, there’s no limit on how many you can apply!
Each new trainer will start with one level-5 Pokemon, though this doesn’t necessarily need to be a starter. Make sure it is a Pokemon that evolves at least once! For example, Absol would not be a suitable starter. However, Pichu or Shuppet would.
You are allowed to have characters that are not new trainers or part of Sycamore’s program. In the case of canon characters from other regions, you must give them probable cause to be in Kalos.

How do I join?
