so stevens flaws coming to light are:
Always trying to âfixâ everyone to the point where heâs pushy and intrusive and even controlling
Aggressively hides his own feelings to the point of exploding...he martyrs in the worst way
Is so stubbornly bent on leaving the past behind him that he gets angry when its brought up again
Is starting to not truly care about peopleâs wellbeing and really only cares about getting the problems (in relation to the past) out of the way. the human connection and kindness he used to have has been replaced by something very impersonal and task focused
Big egoâsomething heâs definitely always had tbh. That goes from assuming everything is his responsibility to assuming he can just make it better. now heâs assuming he knows better than others, that he knows whatâs best for others, etc.
((Edit: Whats great is that most of these things arent new. Theyre very much his normal personality flaws set on maximum because of his trauma and it feels very natural. Considering other characters have gotten this type of development with steven acting as mostly a static character that others bounce off of, its very rewarding to finally have steven get this.))
