might be fun to make a little thread of this, if I remember:

while driving home from visiting the wife on tuesday I made a stop at an outright massive hobby store, which in one hidden corner had little spinny shelves filled with bagged, half assembled, used 'rescue' models

most of them were full squads, or mighty heroes that even used commanded a higher price tag than my wallet could commit.

but there was one...

an old terminator model, half built, with huge runner nubs and a very spotty paint job, all alone in her own little baggie for $5.

of course I took her home with me

image taken after gentle disassembly, nub cleaning, and reassembly. tonight I'm planning to try some paint stripping.

I haven't quite decided how to paint her yet. I know I want to have her be a Killteam Nemesis Operative, as I think a single terminator makes a great example of a small size NemOp, but I can't decide if I want her to join my Blood Angels of Death team, or the Wolf Scouts that I've only just started printing. maybe she should just have her own colours, and tag along with allied chapters as independent aid? much to consider,,

for their colour scheme, and hers, I've consulted with my wife @just-a-wolp. and my wife was very firm on that the scouts should be Iron Hounds chapter (though with the primary colour having a blue tone to it), and that miss $5 Rescue should be a Space Wolf.

the known wolf and by extension dogs liker chose the wolves and dogs chapters.... I love them so much for this.

ive done some priming and built a few more models, they're coming along!

just waiting on the Fenrisian Wolf to print now, then once thats assembled I'll prime all the rest at the same time and the painting can begin! I haven't really decided what kind of method I want to use get, but ive got some ideas percolating that might do something good :>
