This warm half cloak sold the other day along with a custom order. #garb #fashion
Messing about with some new weaves. I'm still thinking I will patina them.
Getting Organized
Doing some mega organization in the workroom. Aside from the fact that it has gotten out of hand. It seems that I have misplaced my elastic box... again. I swear some day I will find three of the blasted things hiding in some forgotten notion corner >.<. #LabelAllTheThings!

More edges. Points and piping and buttonhole lace. Think this is going to become a sampler.
I have to appreciate such delightful handwork >.<
Thinking thoughts about stuff I’m crafting...
This is kind of rambly and kind of touches on cultural appropriation? Idk. Opinions are appreciated.
I know you're probably not really after my opinion on this.... But I feel like we have touched on similar topics in the past. In regards to pagan/witchy stuff I feel that involving it into art isn't really something that trivializes these symbols or meanings (specifically thought our well intentioned/conscious art/representative stuff). I feel that the spirit behind it, specifically pagan stuff has been so borrowed from over the eons the faith at large isn't trivialized by being highly represented in more modern takes. For me personally pagan, specifically witchy stuff is an inclusive and encompassing faith or path that encourages the sharing and communication of the process of whatever your path in it, is.
Tl;dr pagan/witchy stuff could always use positive, well educated represented instances. I don't know of a specific group or culture that's negatively impacted by this (except voodoo, or Egyptian faiths but I don't think thats what your referring too)
That looks so awesome! And like it fits perfectly, super job <3
Thank you!
HOW TO CORRECT A BOWING CORSET
Four different corsets, four different reasons that bowing can occur: From left to right:
Heavenly corset being too small or advanced for me at the time
Xandriana with very flexible steels
AZAC Curvy Girl with far set grommets
Tighter Corsets with slippery laces
Corsets may have a combination or all of these problems, depending on the brand and the wearer’s body.
I (finally) finished the blog post about this.
Epic info os epic!
There are a lot of myths, misconceptions, and outright lies concerning corset waist training. We cut through it all (no, you won't break your ribs!).
We’ve shared this before and will probably share it again, this is one of our favorite blog posts!

Hooboy! Its been such a hectic month! But aside from gads of much needed family time, I have been tinkering away :3 also my Aunt and Uncle gave me 55lbs of awesome to remind me how wonderful they are! I am a seamtress with an anvil!! Fantastic copper work here I come!!!
No stones this time, just playing with wraps and styles. Copper, and steel wire :3
These sold like hotcakes! I even got a couple custom orders from them! I can't wait to post some new ones on my etsy.
This vend was amazing fun!
I got so many compliments on my outfit for the celtic festival. I am still beaming! The waist belt/half corset was totally worth the time to make. I should make myself things more often.
On trying new things....
Did some preliminary research on spinning/fiber work today, specifically wool and alpaca. Maybe it would be fun to tinker with some yarn, spinning and the like. (I have spun before) the amount of work and time that goes into this before you get to the wheel is insane, the amount of time after the wheel is insane… Don’t even get me started on the tools!
This is not a tinker thing. This is serious business. I have come away with boatloads of respect, and a better understanding of terminology. Which is cool.
But the short answer on this? Noooope. Nope nope.
Maybe when I retire? Until then, i’ll stick with fabric and metal.

Apparently in my head, a quick waist cincher/corset belt takes the whole work day... But I have something to wear to the celtic faire :3
Made up some quick signage for my first booth this weekend! I am so excited!
