the world is ending, ur in a city miles away from your home. you find an abandoned car. you sit in it as you see the red in the sky. you spot a mixtape on the floor of the car. you put it in the casette player. these are the songs you hear.

its summer, ur finally with your best friend after being away for months. you sit outside a gas station with your popsicles and sit on the curb together. the air is hot and bothering but you both don’t mind. you sit and talk about spending the future together, and laugh about the present. everything feels okay when you’re together

the time on the clock is 3:17 am. its right before you leave for a road trip home, everything is packed and in hte car, but you just have to say ur last goodbyes to the people you love even though you have absolutely no idea when you will see them  next. but you hear in the backgroun the car is starting and the aux gets plugged in as you begin the long drive home.
